Yep, specifically, the XJ220C Le Mans racer.

"Jaguar also made another appearance at Le Mans in 1993 with a team of three specially prepared XJ220C’s which competed in the new Grand Touring class. Sadly the winning Jaguar was disqualified for an alleged technical infringement." - From Jaguar Heritage website

And thanks to @jake2013guy we now also know that the "technical infringement" was a lack of catalytic converters.

Would be added to GT1 alongside the Mercedes. (And probably the Mclaren which would be officially announced sometime) Cannot. Wait.

I would hope they have a separate GT class for the XJ220. I imagine the McLaren and Mercedes were both a lot faster than this. The McLaren (long tail anyway) was announced with CotA not too long ago.

I agree with you in a sense. If anything they should bring in the lambo countach qvx, f40lm and the porsche 959 to compete. But if they group this with the Mercedes and McLaren I wouldn't mind either, it would just be a little slower lol.

BOP. That's what they'll do.
I'm not a fan of slowing down or speeding up cars to match others that shouldn't be together. Look at the GTE cars in the GT3 class in pCars 1. They're all off pace of the absolute fastest times. If it's a necessity to have it that way for them to be in the game then ok, but it's artificial and there will always be a difference in pace.

Yes but that's a different situation. That's bringing cars from one class into another to bolster numbers. I disagree with that. However, these cars are in the same category and eligible to race against each other so why not allow them to race each other in game?

My bad I thought it wasn't a GT1 car like the Mercedes and McLaren. I looked it up and it even mentioned the McLaren in the article.

I think this is a different case simply because GT1 has seen multiple eras from the XJ220 to the GT-One to the MC12. None of those three parts of GT1 are really the same, and I don't believe you can just lump them together because the classes all had the same name. Besides, I think the BoP should be within reason such that the car is still true to its realistic specs. I was already a bit bitter to how much faster the McLaren long tail had to be to keep up with the Mercedes. A much more extreme case is like that other game that cut the Veyron VGT's weight in half so it can compete with the R18.

Side note, you guys remember the loads of updates PC1 received. It would be a nice update if they made all GT cars that are older spec into 2016-2017 spec versions after the game released of course . I have hope for that and would be a nice touch from SMS.

We've seen the 650S which is essentially an updated version of the 12C. I'd be surprised if many of them aren't new spec on release.

Mmm. I see the holy trinity of Evos right there, and a time attack one too. Interesting.

Maybe I'll buy this on something other than the PC I can't run it on this time. Well, provided the rest of it is up to scratch anyway.

They're at the Sepang International Circuit. Maybe that means something...

Also, it looks like the aerokitted version. GIVE US COYNE GODDAMIT!

I've spotted a Bentley.

From the general discussion thread.

- Audi R8 LMS Confimed (right of Bentley)
- Lamborghini Huracan GT3?? (Right of Audi)

Looks like an Italian style low roof line on the purple car, but it's way too blurry too be sure.

I initially thought it was an Aston.

Picture is high res enough for me to tell that is indeed an R8 LMS, it also has the rear air vents on the sides of the rear bumper.

The car has some wide rear lights, but I couldn't tell if it was a Huracan GT3. I'll stick with my gut that it is an Huracan GT3 to me.
