I was watching the trailer again and I saw what looks to be the new Ford mustang at 1.07 into the video but it hasn't been added to the car list...

EDIT: @jake2013guy the photo won't show but you will see it 1 minute and 7 seconds in if you have a look. Add it to the car list when you get the chance. :D

Definitely the new body style Mustang, but the 2015 was already in game. I assume that's what this is. Hard to tell from the very brief shot of it if it is the 2015, or later.

Does the 2016 GTE cars listed (Ferrari and Ford) got the updated regulation like bigger diffuser and front splitter? So the performance is going to be superior to the GT3 and the old GTE regulation cars like Corvette and Aston.
I hope they dont put the old GTE and the 2016+ updated regs ones in the same category. (Hope they update the old ones to 2016 spec which can't be too difficult.)

Assuming the information I have is correct, I think they'll just be BOP'd to correct pace and with the visuals of what we see.

Considering the Ford and the Ferrari were both originally built specifically to the 2016 specs, I would say they better be 2016 spec. If not, they are not the real cars ;)

Remember, the Ferrari is the 488 and not the 458 which ran in 2015. There was no "updating" since both cars were built brand new form the ground up to 2016 specs.

Now, if you are referring to the Aston and Corvette being updated to 2016 spec, I would hope they are. COnsidering the GT3 class seems to be all 2016 spec, I would think this was doen for the GTE as well, but we will have to wait and see, since none of those are "officially" announced yet.

That GT car on the right, looks like a Ford GT.

Is this WIP?
Doubt SMS would let
TOUR
ing

And

PROTO
type

make it to final stage.

Shell V-Power on the Formula car. Hmmm...

That's not from pCARS 2.
It is, but it is dated 2015. VERY early concept art. Look closely at the bottom left corner you can see the build version and it clearly states 20150313

In other words...... it means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! ;)

Ahh yes you are correct with the Ford and Ferrari being brand new cars but I believe they did update the current Corvette and Vantage to 2016 GTE specs. See as both these cars are already in the game, SMS only have to model the updated parts like diffuser etc as the base car model is already there.

If they add the Porsche and BMW then they have pretty much all the 2016 spec GTE cars.

Yeah it's a dead giveaway that it's just concept art. There's no Formula One in the list of open wheel disciplines, and that photo is a 2010 Ferrari F10, complete with shark fin F-duct.

I wouldn't doubt the M6 gt3 or gtlm coming to PC2 and it will be a nice addition . Was it Ianbell who said all major manufacturers newer gt cars will make it in.

Yeah. I think he said something along those lines. Can't remember the specific quote.
