Saw this video a few minutes before and wanted to make sure it was official for sure.

The new Rallycross article indicates there are 8 licensed rallycross cars. So far there are 6 that have been confirmed:

2017 Renault Megane SMS-RX
2017 Mercedes-Benz A45 SMS-RX
2016 Ford Focus RS RX
2016 Honda Civic Coupe RX
2015 Mini Countryman RX
2013 Volkswagen Polo RX

This is why I believe there will be both 911 GT3R and RSR.

For everyones concern, this is the 2016-spec 911 GT3-R.

Note the number tags in all three pictures.

In game number tag.

Real life Porsche 911 GT3 R with the same livery and number tag in game.

Same car, 2017 model, same livery, but not the same number tag.

I wonder how accurate the in-game livery will be. Will we see a Gran Turismo sun screen in Project CARS 2?

EDIT: I also suspect that all of the "currently active" race cars will be based on 2016 spec. Afterall, that's when most of them were most likely created within the game.

Say, who knows? Maybe. This is in the game. Check the rear wing endplate:

Yeah. There are a good fair few in either version. E.g. E30 M3 in Group A version.

I remember seeing a car in Assetto Corsa with a Gran Turismo banner in the window. With the way AC was/still is it was actually pretty good advice...

No. I 'm a PS4 player, it's just that they're as lazy with licensing as they are at releasing a functioning game.
