Guys I think I might have what could possibly maybe by any chance highly likely be.... the full 189 cars list! :)

http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?49899-Project-CARS-2-confirmed-car-list

The cars not on the official PCARS1 list yet are marked bold orange so they are easy to spot.

I think the car classes for those road cars might be quite accurate already too. That's 1 pair of Ferrari/Lambo per road A, B and C.

@Scuderia Paul says no 488 road car. I want to hear where he got this from or if it's also speculation.

@The Owl Defibrillator is on standby, bring it.

Well that one and the 330 P4 are the 2 speculation cars. The 488 GTB makes perfect sense IMO for that target of road car (modern sportscar/supercar). The La Ferrari is too fast (hypercar) and the other Ferrari road cars are too old.

My favorite one for sure will be the 288 GTO. That is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. Absolutely love today's screenshot of it as well. :)

Sesto Elemento should be a fun spec racer. I used to think it was a silly joke like most of what Lamborghini does (see Egoista and Veneno) but this is just a bare bones track day car. Watch Hammond's review of it. Not sure if it's on the last season of Top Gear or The Grand Tour but it's good.

To me the veneno is like a modern sesto. A lighter, more rare and exclusive track focused version of a production lambo. They are the same color too I believe. Would like to see them head to head on track

Not, by any means, trying to discredit you but where did you get the info, so that I can put it to rest? Also, do you know if that road Huracan will be on the base game?
No prob. I specifically asked somebody who knows on another car themed forum, as I love the 488 GTB in Assetto Corsa, and they told me so. There is always the prospect of it coming as DLC.

As far as I am aware, all the cars seen so far, Huracan included, are from the base game and Motorsport Pack.

Too bad about not getting the 488 GTB or the 458 Italia, but oh well. :(

As for why the Porsche 919 isn't on pCARS: I'm defending that I'm in support of SMS' decision not putting it just yet. I am backing the logic of what SMS is trying to play: playing realistic instead of some simcade game like Forza. It might be disappointing not to see the 919 on pCARS 2, but I do understand what the SMS mantra is: If they don't have all the details, they won't put it in the game. It's simple to get the models itself, but it's difficult to get the (usually top-secret?) actual data, maybe that's why. I don't know however why in the world Assetto Corsa has the 919...

Assetto Corsa has the 919 Hybrid because Porsche chose Kunos to provide their simulation software for experience centres. They have a very close relationship.

That is not to say we won't see it as DLC. If that is the case it would be great to see it arrive with the 2016 TS050-HYBRID and R18 so it has proper rivals.

Agree, 2016 is the last year I'm interested in LMP1 cars in sim racing since 2017 and onward it will only go further downhill from the looks of it. :)

Eventually we will have those 3 cars in a good sim racing game I'm sure, the question is how long we will need to wait for it. :). Maybe PC2 DLC, maybe PC3, maybe something new comes along... who knows.

Very dissapointed we didn't get the 458 Italia or FXX...

At least Ferrari is there though :)

Is the Sesto Elemento in?

Great! Now I have a lot of updating to do. But I will NEVER put TCR and Super 2000 in the same class. #NotMyTCR
I saved you hours of work. You're welcome!

Oh my...that is the best news I've had since hearing Ferrari and Lamborghini will be in Project Cars 2!!

Thank you so much you've made my day!

Is there any videos or pics of it?

So the Corvette GTE is 2016? So all GTE cars are the updated regs apart from Aston? DLC? :)

That seems to be a typo. The aero isn't right. Neither are the horsepower and weight numbers. 2016 cars have about 20 or 30hp more than before and the new corvette has a weight of about 2734 lbs.

The Ferrari 330 P4, Ford MKIV and Lotus Type 30 Ford are under "Vintage Prototype B". Now we do not have a "Vintage Prototype A" class as of yet so something is telling me we may be getting that class in the future. I'd assume that's where a Porsche 917 or Ferrari 512 would fit into if they were to be added which leads me to speculate that we might be getting a historic Le Mans pack or something of the sort later on.

Are those SMS's car categories? I don't understand why the Lotus 49's and 72D are listed as Vintage Formula C yet the Lotus 25 is listed as Formula A?

Formula A was the name given in the USA by the SCCA to Formula 5000 - a single seater category equivalent in performance to F1 at the time. In Australia Formula 5000 was known as Formula One and in South Africa the national Formula One championship was open to both F1 and F5000 cars.

The Lotus 25 is much slower than the other cars listed under Vintage Formula A and C, however I would expect it and the 49's and 72D to be listed under Formula A as they were all Formula One cars and I presume Formula A is SMS's name for F1.

The Lotus Type 51 is a vintage Formula Ford which used a stock Ford Cortina GT engine of 1.5 litres - vintage Formula 3 used (most commonly) a very highly tuned Ford 105E Anglia engone of 1 litre.

I was hoping for the inclusion of at least one F5000 car to compete with the Type 49 cars so I could replicate the Brands Hatch race of champions where both categories raced each other - hopefully this will come in DLC, maybe with a Tasman single seater to compete against the Lotus 25.

Very excited to see earlier in the thread the Sunoco Camaro livery used by the Penske team and raced by Mark Donoghue.

Looking forward to trying the classic Lotus cars again - this time with the new tyre model!

I think SMS just wants to name it "Vintage Formula" but to separate them further into categories to have more balanced matches they use the names A, B and C. I don't think it hasn't much to do with "Formula A" at all.

They split tack toys also into A and B and Vintage Touring and GT even in A, B, C, D.

Same with road: it's A, B, C, D, E, F, G.

But then Group A and Group C those do resemble real world Group A and Group C.

Anyone still with me? :-)

I might be adding two and two and getting five here. I don't think this is the final list.

It is the final list for release but at least 32 more DLC cars will find their way as well. (4 packs of at at least 8 cars each). That will bring the total at least at 197+32 = 229 cars.
