Your list is a little disingenuous when some of those cars have simply been updated to their latest versions. There would be no point, for example, having the 2013 and 2015 Audi R8.
Sixty or so horsepower, a different transmission, different, more carbon-heavy chassis, etc etc. It's certainly more different than including a 2015 and 2016-spec Bentley race car. Or the myriad LM versions of cars.

Maybe Audi didn't want both versions in game? From what I've heard regarding the Endurance versions of a car, it's been the manufacturers who wanted those in game as opposed to SMS because they probably don't see many differences either.
I love the fact that we get a Mark One Escort and enough liveries that I can pretend that I'm Frank Gardner winning the BSCC (BTCC)! Really looking forward to trying out these cars with the new tyre model!

In an effort to clean up the first post in the GD thread and because people want it, I've decided to create a Project CARS 2 Car and track list. Classes will be confirmed closer to release if not already.

Agreed. If we got the MRTI, I wouldn't be surprised to see the 767B Group C and some other cars in game as well. Seeing as they'd have to go to Mazda to source and do stuff with the cars.

My last point about the Escort. Stock car settings, it's a bit wobbly. I tuned it properly, ran it at Le Bugatti Circuit, 8 lap, full grid, 3pm, 4-slot Random weather real time, real fuel & tyre wear.
Just awesome. Started 38th, finished 25th.
I'd like some similar performing cars like a 510 and Alfa GTV. For me to overtake the 2002 turbo and leave it for dead, becomes a bit of a one horse race versus the other Escorts. Looking forward to the performance changes of these cars.

Thanks for all your great work on this thread and the other PC2 threads @jake2013guy - I hope SMS are giving you a free copy of the game and some goodies for all the time you've put in. I hope you read this @IanBell
I've produced my spreadsheet of classic content for my League/Club ("Sick's Race Room"). I've now started trying to fill in the TBA blanks and could do with some help from Jake and the rest of you guys - have I put the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and the classic Ferraris in the right slots?
Are any of the other TBA's on my sheet known yet or is it just speculation? Any help gratefully received, but please indicate whether the car is speculation or has actually been seen in an SMS video etc.
I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this game and doing the testing and research to put together a great programme of championships for 2018.
Z28 goes into the vintage touring class. Same for the 365 Daytona. Other known TBA slots are:
1. GT1 - 1998 Toyota GT-One TS020
2. LMP900 - Ferrari 333 SP
3. LMP900 - 1999 Toyota GT-One TS020
@Sick Cylinder The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 has been seen in the E3 Sizzle trailer and should go in the GT class. The number 39 took 5th overall in the 1972 Le Mans 24 Hours.

The #58 NART also finished 5th overall and 1st in their class in 1971. In '72, as you said, #39 took 1st place in its class, followed by other four Daytonas (#74, #34, #36 and #38) and the GT class wins were repeated in 1973 and 1974.

I agree! Great job @jake2013guy for your work on the forums and basically promoting the game! @IanBell give this guy a free copy or if he has already purchased it he deserves a free copy of pCARS 3 when its released in the future.
EDIT: I typed in Project Cars 2 in a google search a while ago to find some info and this forum popped up on the first page and I was like "sick!". And now this is where I go to get info on pCARS 2. If that's not promoting a game then I don't know what is. Free game/goodies for @jake2013guy !

Thanks. It's just something to do when I get bored. Or when I'm not. It's rather good fun. Although, I don't work alone. It's you guys as well. I don't want a free game. I just want Thruxton.
