I would second that, the DLC has been good so far but some more variety would be nice. A second season pass would suit me.

I would also love a second season pass. My favourite cars in the game are the classic Lotus ones so I would love to see a pack like that from McLaren - it's a bit of a mystery to me why McLaren aren't biting SMS's arm off and insisting that they promote their heritage and celebrate their incredible motorsport record with a pack including classic F1, F5000, Indycar and Can Am content!

I have a feeling, no idea if it is true or not, that the classic Mclarens (Pre Mclaren F1) might have to be liscensed seperately to the more recent Mclarens

Similarly to how the Lotuses are branded "Classic Team Lotus", Mclaren may have something similar. This would also explain why the majority of games only have Mclarens from the F1 onwards (Apart from Forza which has I believe the M2B, M8B, M23, MP4/4)

I think it could be because McLaren Cars (now Mclaren Automotive) was founded in 1985 and exists as a 'new' brand

Total speculation on my part, could very likely be a load rubbish but it could explain why we haven't seen any classic Mclaren Formula 1 cars, Can Am Prototypes, F5000 or Indycars

McLaren has a far less convoluted history and chain of ownership than Lotus.

Reason we haven't seen pre-Mac F1 McLaren is because there is little demand for it.

May or may not.

If I remember the Fun Pack was pretty late.. Came out just before Christmas.

The Porsche pack was pretty early and that was being hyped up at this point.

Will just have to wait and see for Le Mans.. My guess is it will be released sometime between June 1st and June 30th.

This years Le Mans is 16-17 June, so maybe to maximise publicity it will be very close to that date - or perhaps coincide with the 2018 Le Mans Classic 6-8 July.

And it makes little sense to advertise Le Mans during May when the big motorsport events are Indy and Monaco. Surprised there isn't a Community Event for both.

Because they know there is only one big thing in racing, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring ;)

But I agree with you, I would expect an Indy event at least

So what's supposed to be the difference about this track compared to the one we already got?

No chicanes?

It’s not just the version of the track without chicanes that is in Forza Motorsport. What Forza does is just take the modern circuit and remove the 2 chicanes on the Mulsanne straight but keep everything else from the modern circuit, but that is not a realistic version of the track.

Project CARS no doubt does it the correct way. Not only do they use the full layout of the circuit as it was back in 1970 (since they used the movie Le Mans according to the info description I got on the Microsoft store), they also decorate the sides of the track realistically, so you will see houses, pits, grand stands etc. all how it was back in 1970. They already did some great classic versions of tracks that way including Monza, Spa, Silverstone, Hockenheim, Rouen and Brands Hatch rallycross.

If you want to scroll back in time to see all the variations the Le Mans circuit has seen over the years the link below is a great website. As you can see the difference between the modern layout and the one from 1970 is quite big.

Lol. Yep, totally, Microsoft is trolling the PC2 community...

If you don't like, just say you don't.

I like it but the dlc cover looks strange. Completly different design than fun pack and Porsche pack.
And i thought somebody added some fakr app to ms store, but probably i am wrong. I hope we will get more cars in this dlc :)
