Yes - it has a fan and a spare wheel. The regulations required the carrying of a spare. This photo with rear bodywork removed clearly shows the fan and spare wheel.

A shame the fan doesn't have a Flux Capacitor incorperated, and when you hit 88mph...................... :dopey:

Speaking of which, no chance of a DeLorean showing up in the game?

So I’ve tried searching around and it seems like this answer may be yes but I thought I’d ask just to make sure. Does PCars 2 on the PS4 let you map the buttons from the Fanatec McLaren GT3 wheel individually? Also if anyone knows what about F1 2018?

I have both games on the Xbox and they both register what are labeled as separate buttons the same as the shifter so I have buttons I can’t use when I try to shift for myself and it seems switching to the PS4 games maybe my only option to get them working for now.

*point. You only make one point.

Er, let's review.

No host kick.
Unbalanced AI strength between tracks, cars and conditions.
Console lobby issues.
Poor public lobby participation.
Cut track penalties served by braking for the next turn.
No BoP for unbalanced Groups.

Just off the top of my head.

Your only point is, you don't want to read about problems with the game.

Fair enough, but name me a game that's perfect these days? On any format?

When you think about the sheer amount of programming that goes into PCARS 2, then it's no wonder there's a few little problems here and there........Just saying. ;)

Wrong. I don't want to read the exact same comment making the exact same points. I have my views and I have stated them openly.

In fact, I'd like the weather settings to allow a more dynamic system than the slots system for example. I don't like the slots system.

Well, I guess that's improvement. You are willing to admit it is multiple points. I am not going to bother to track down and repeat (because I know how much you hate other people repeating themselves - strange how you feel OK with it yourself) all the other points I have made, but let's just say there are many!

Personally, I don't want to read the exact same objection to my posting what I feel like (under the AUP), but it appears I have to bear it.

Then stop posting the same thing...

I've always admitted I don't like a number of things in the game. You're too busy copying and pasting your generic comment and making 5 words every time.

Recently i been driving the classic cars which are just fantastic :D Question what's everyone's top 5 favorite classic cars in the game?

My are

1.Porsche 917K
2.1970 Ferrari 512 S
3.1965 Lotus Type 40
4.Ford GT40 MK.IV
5.Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

:)
Erm.... Don't know which one but they're all Lotus's, that's the era/type of race car I love, strapped into a bomb on wheels with just leather gloves/hat & a pair of goggles with balls the same size :)

I built my PC for $600ish and it runs PCARS 2 well and only thing bad is i have slight stutters and frame drops with large grids of opponents

I know not the first thing about building a pc from parts, i was asking more about buying a prebuilt gaming pc.

You might want to check at SMS's forum about specific PC builds. But if you are content with having to use smaller grids to avoid stutters, you might save yourself a ton of money and just get a used PS4. Seems a shame to blow a grand, and STILL have to dial back the settings when a $400 device works fine.

And i want a ps4 when i have a ps4 why?

I want a general gaming pc not just for pcars but for all pc gaming.

I'm not the most aligned to PC building but if you build a PC that can handle PCARS on medium or high, I'm sure it will be able to handle most games seeing as it's massively intensive.

You'll save so much money building your own PC. Spend around $800-$900 instead of $1,500-$1,600. And it's not that difficult, I was doing it at 12,13 years old. Whatever you can't figure out bring to a shop and they'll finish it for you for a small fee.

It does take a little research to know what to do but it's really not that complicated after you get past the initial shock and there are websites that can help make sure you aren't buying components that aren't known to be compatible with one another. The actual build is not difficult at all if you can handle a screwdriver and you will be saving a lot of money by doing it yourself. You can also install just your OS without a million other pointless programs prebuilt PCs tend to come with.

One thing I'd suggest for self-building is to go ahead and get a plenty big case, whether you think you need one or not. It's easy to fit smaller stuff in a bigger case but making all your drives and cards and wires fit together in a smaller one can be a bit of a chore. Speaking from experience there :)

That is not always the case just watch a few utube vids on the subject and you will see the same spec pc's worked out about the same in a lot of cases.

Long post warning :)

I've Recently been playing PC2 with the pad alot lately, having little 30min sessions over the course of the week at various times because I can't be bothered to get the wheel out & pack it away again, while getting moaned at by the wife for leaving it out, or the risk of the kids spilling coco pops over it.

While I'm quite comfortable using the pad, a wheel is obviously better (I'm not denying that) but I thought of 1 or 2 extra little bits that @IanBell / SMS could implement for pad user as a whole.

Remember back in version 1 we Damper Saturation, I'm not entirely sure what it did but it was removed, which means things can be put back in @IanBell (wink wink nudge nudge) :)

Idea No1:

I think that the controller damping might benefit from an extra slider regarding a sort of input return spring (here me out before you attack me), at the moment controller damping works 1 of 2 ways only, softening your input but at the same time reducing the countersteer speed or the opposite of this is quick inputs followed by a sort of snap oversteer effect as you try to countersteer.

Now imagine if you could steer softly but counter quickly to catch a slide or steer quickly to induce a slide & counter softly to control it (rallying purposes I suppose).

I know it's probably not full proof but it may help out a tad more regarding input control & countersteer, which brings me onto the next idea.

Idea No2:

Opposite Lock Assist, it's like Marmite, you love it or you hate it.

I know some of you love it but personally I hate it, I understand what it's supposed to do but I don't like the way it's implemented, it's either on or off & when it's on it's computer controlled like steering/braking assist.

If this was implemented as a opposite lock speed/damping 0-100% slider & we were in control of it (not the computer), I think it would function better & possibly replace my 1st idea of dual damping sliders.

Thoughts/ideas, yes/no?

Edit: Bonus thought/idea, (completely irrelevant to the previous 2 idea's) :)

Speed sensitivity.

This has been discussed before somewhere in the past but anyways.

A slider 0-100 hmm, I will bet my left nut that no one uses 0-49 on this slider (you watch all these pad users come out the woodwork now stating otherwise), bye bye funbag.

If SMS (within the base config files) could effectively wipe/get rid of the 0-49 range then stretch the 50-100 range so 50 becomes 0, 75 becomes 50, 100 would still be 100, it would allow controller users a bit more refinement, whether that would help or not I don't know.

Disclaimer:
Any persons or companies looking to acquire my left nut please note, they are in no way any good to you or any industry as of 3 year's ago when I took it upon myself to make sure that no more little bastards entered this world.

Only joking, I love the little gits really :)
