There is more hype for patches than the actual game when It released. Game should be free to play and patches 20€ each ehehehe

I got really torqued up when release 2.0 was announced. That was based on general software industry practice that major “dot” releases indicate a significant functionality upgrade.

I’m only seeing a limited bug fix patch. Am I missing something? (Not that I don’t welcome bug fixes, heck, there’s enough of them!)

Think of it as 2.2.0 where the major revision is from PCars1 to 2. So the next patch is 2.3.0.

Well i heard that Xbox One version is worse... Xbox One X had updates, because it is fresh topic. They wanted to use promotion of new console to further sell more copies for Xbox One X that is natural.

Trying to sell more copies before the game is even fixed for a large part of the consumer base is the attitude that keeps me from both believing anything they say and putting my full support behind this game.

A demo is out now and it is based on the patched game. It so much better then the actual full game we have, so improved! Also many new options. The game Will boost with the new patch, try the demo.

However on standard ps4 It is a another game.. the weather changed a lot. The drying racing line is cool, also ffb.. i mean game changer update.

If you try the demo you won't get back ti the full game. Ahah i deleted It already as i have a career to continue.

Should have seen thiscomming after the mess that was PC1 when you have to list on the goty "500+ fixes" thats a joke, instead the honest version would be:

"Play the game that we should have shipped day 1, with 500 fixes to mend a game that was nowhere near ready!"

You misunderstand. What @paulpg87 is saying is that the demo has a lot of improvements that are coming in the next patch for the full game. So right now the demo is actually better than the full game because the full game has not yet received the same patch.

Makes me sad watching this game fall from grace so fast

In the last 2 weeks i have only played for a total of 30 minutes.

At this point not even the gtr can save this game for me

Downloaded the demo and had a quick go on the controller. No idea how anyone can play this with a controller, it’s awful.

Really? Wow, that’s weird. I thought it was quite good, not having many issues with the three included cars and authentic assists. Compared to pCARS 1 it’s like night and day.

Just did all three races in the demo with a controller without issue. No idea how anyone can find it difficult. I think people are far too used to the handholding that goes on in modern racing games with controllers.

I can't drive this car so the game is bad.
