I can't sell it UNFORTUNATELY cause it's a digital release.
But i will never buy any other SMS games !!!

If eu based you could see if you can use consumerlaws. I'm pretty sure with little to no time played PSstore should refund your games.

If you can show how this game is not what it was advertised they would be forced to repay you no matter what.
Yet I don't think with the 'little' bugs (and yes theybdo annoy me too) you'd be able to pull it off and rightfully so.

But yeah if you want to put your foot down I advise to get ready for a propper lawsuit.

I guess some people have issues understanding that all games have some kind of issues nowadays.

Sms did a great job fixing them on pcars1 and now they have x3 people to work on everything. Pcars1 had really bad issues, but this game is already way way more polished that 1 was at the end of it's cycle.

I really hope gtsport will be the bugless wonder all expect, else I see all people to sell it after one week to buy mario kart :-D

Consumer PROTECTION laws. If ypu get thrown of PSN shortly after it won't be a hard case to get your PSN back will it?

No PS does not have refund policy. But a refund policy is manditory within the eu. So if you can show you "haven't" played the game or that it is not what was advertised PS is obliged to refund.

I personally don't believe you have a case. I'm just stating that if you feel you've been conned by sms you could always turn that route.

Indeed, with new sony policies, patch can be approved, certified and deployed on the same day, or the day after !

SMS is working on the patch as hard as they can, and they'll release it as soon as it is available.

I think it's safe to say the patch is done when we see it popping up in Steam and/or release notes are posted.

Battlefield 3 had some major release issues and alot of people quit. A year later it was still popular with the community and the devs spending some serious time making it great. Folks that sold their game were mad they did after making their snap judgment. I have issues in pcars2. I'll wait for a patch but in the mean time I'll just play it so I can have fun.

They don't have to provide anyone with a psn, this does not mean they can just suspend your current PSN without reasons.

Also no I have never ever encountered a game that used false advertising. Nor did I ever buy a game I wanted refunded.

They're consumer protection laws not harrass developper laws so you'll need a viable reason why suddenly you need a refund.

This is escalating quickly. I mean It is a damn game at the end. Relax and be patient.

Ok, the product was released in an embarassing status and i'm really surprised by the level of problems but guys i'm reading of people getting unhealthy.

If you want to survive you have to really relax cause my prediction is that it will take 2-3 months to fix everything.

Patches wise they said on the official forum that the team is working hard on the patch, It will be a big One while on PC small adjustements have already been released. Days or weeks is not known. Ian Bell said days.

I didn't say they could overwrite consumer laws. I was quite specific - anyone enforcing a refund from Sony (for a game they paid for, therefore consumer laws apply) may well find themselves banned from PSN - something they didn't pay for, so how would that be covered by consumer laws?!

edit: It's a stretch to argue the same as for facebook (that it earns money from having users, by advertising etc), so any case would probably have to rest on some other harm arising from being denied PSN. I'm not aware of any such cases.

Regardless, anyone thinking of enforcing a refund from Sony should be aware of how Sony have been known to react.

What on earth are you ranting at me for? I'm finding some fun in PCars2 on PS4 despite the bugs, not that it's relevant to Sony's policies.

Remember the awesome countdown thread before game release? Maybe we should start a count-up thread for the PS4 version patch. I loved seeing all those pictures of cool race cars, and am just as anxious for the fixes as I was the release.

Some of you guys just need to relax ! Remember it's just a game. It's only a few weeks old ,plus every game that comes out nowadays has some sort of problems/issues. I've had a few issues but that's expected. So far for what it is ,I love the game, has everything I need for a racing simulator. If they say a patch is coming out just be patient and stop acting like a little kid throwing a fit because he doesn't get a new toy. Enjoy it for what it is. If not ,sell it and move on to another game ,don't just complain about it because that does nothing. happy racing ! Looking forward to GTS also.

I don't want to agree with this, but I do. It's very unfortunate, but that's just the way it is now. Gone are the days of plugging in a cartridge and it working. And no amount of blowing on the pC2 disc or DL will help fix the glitches. Although, that might be something to try for those with major issues.

Not preordering to send a message to the devs is not going to change the ways games are developed and released now. It's just part of the industry today. Some devs get it right, some don't. I don't think SMS did, they should sack the external console QA team thats for sure.

It sucks, and I hate it. It's very frustrating to see my friends struggle and be unable to play with me and my club. It took just 2 weeks to throw things into chaos because the game is seriously borked for some people. They want reassurance that the game will work for them, and that their concerns are being addressed.
