Definitely going to re-enact the old PGR days by driving the Ring in the snow. Looks so nice. The landscape artists have done a great job.

I love the DoomCar in 2:25.... Slaughtering demons in indy car! :D

I wonder what Bethesda have to say about it? :D :D

I'm concerned in both the snow video and the wet weather in Bathurst that there appears to be far too much grip available.
It seems that way, but look how fast race cars drive in the wet. The down force and the wet tyre remove water remarkably.

Even with road & tuned cars. Have a look at the plethora of Best Motoring videos. The wet weather traction is phenomenal. I wouldn't drive that fast on the street. Sometimes, I can't believe they are not on a wet tyre built for race cars.

I can understand yours and other's concern, but it's true to life like that on a track, cars can appear to have that much grip in the wet. Though, they are still struggling for grip at the same time.

In the video, the steering wheel is still moving about.

We were constantly berated by all of our pro drivers (7 on the payroll) that wet racing was under gripped (with the exception of puddles and aquaplaning which we have) in every game they played and ours up until lately.

Go to about 3 minutes in here.

When you look at this video of Sabine it all looks so easy even on a wet track. But then when you have to do it yourself :scared:
84 days and counting!

That new video at Bathurst looks brilliant. I'm really looking the look of the Audi too. Great stuff.
Same. You can see the clear differences in drainage. Where it's fast down Conrod straight at the end, there's no spray whatsoever but when you enter the chicane at a lower speed, water isn't shifted as easily so is still there. As is the case with the shadows in the section before the hairpin before Conrod.

Ian, I have a question for you. With the introduction of live track and localized weather, how do the AI determine when it is appropriate to pit? (.e.g certain parts of the track are wet/dry). If we recall in the original p cars, we had a lot of issue with strategy and the AI not taking into account certain conditions.

Do we also know what sort of improvements have been made to the AI this year as a whole?

Offline racing is incredibly key to me so I would hope this isn't going to be overlooked again.

That person is tagging all their videos New PC2. Then, in the description, it reads "NOT PC2". Treacherous.
