I've had a go...firstly appologies for the poor video quality - I have the save here so if anyone with a HD capture card wants to volunteer their services I'd be much obliged!

Considering GT5 doesn't have a Gymkhana mode (AKA Ken Block's crazy drift/rallying techniques) it's not too bad for a relative noob.

This is from one continuous session, played from various angles and cut together...(to distract you from the poor PQ with music).

Nice run, method. I'm curious, would you like to go tandem Gymkhana-ing? Just front to front simultaneous donuts, folowing a course together (mine would work if we stay close enough) and using similar cars. I noticed you have an impreza clip upcoming and i use a '10 STI in yellow. I think two different impreza models and colours would look great together and BTW i can record in HD

I don't own one yet, but I'm calling that my next Gymkhana project.

I can't see why we can't have a go at tandem - even more perhaps!

Would make for some interesting videos...oh wait, you can't do replays of online can you?

Do I have to get gold? If so thats gonna be a little hard.

Yup. I got 2nd place first time round and then gave up. When I've got more time I'll try it again but for now I just rely on online rooms and hope that the cones haven't been messed up too much.

I was messing around with it a few days ago and found it quite awful. It has absolutely no low down grunt so it's a bit of a struggle trying to keep it in the power. However, it did have a high RPM turbo and I hadn't played with the gear ratios :D

Bloody Hell thats gonna take me a while lol, thanks for the info.

I'm down for tandeming if anybody wants to? I'm not that great at this style of drifting (learning), but it's been an easy transition seeing as i'm an "OK" drifter (: .

I am looking for a few people who wanna practice gymkhana. you can decide if im good or not. Also, I have some good tunes for gymkhana and will share.

Thanks for your input. I will try those settings.

You are right, the car has lots of power.

Specs:
2011 Ford Fiesta (built by Olsbergs MSE in Sweden)
Horsepower - 650bhp (limited for optimal power brand)
Torque - 895NM at 4000rpm
Weight - 1100kg
Power to weight ratio - 1.69kg/hp (greater than that of a Bugatti Veyron)
Transmission - six-speed electronically shifted sequential box, all-wheel drive with three mechanical differentials
0-60mph - 1.9sec (on race tyres)
Pirelli PZero tyres

Any idea what car in GT5 could be best to upgrade it to those specs?

i have a car that can drift like ken blocks but not at 600hp its a C4 WRC '08 with a killer tune

If you guys are going to get together online, might want to check out this video.

It's not Gymkhana by any means, but a very interesting thing to finish up a session.

From 3:45 mark till finish. It's basically just 8s, but great to look at especially around two cars. You can also watch the whole video just listening to a great relaxing song.

Since i'm at this subject, this is where they did it.

I asked before on the Course Making forum, but can anyone try to make a very similar track like this one?

*Those drivers on the video are not professional drifters, just an actor and some buddies doing their hobbies. Fixing cars and drifting.
