I'm one who will mind the bollocks. Wait, that didn't sound right. 😭Some interesting news for the New Year. I would think it's probably more interesting for PC users though. You never know though, this "System" might include console users too.

Yes, PMR does seem to be laser focused on the motor racing aspect - which I like. There's a passion there that's evident and I'm looking forward to the results of that passion.I think that PMR is doing a wonderful job at diving into becoming part of what they are creating.
I totally agree with this. It is good to see devs trying different things with their games. Game diversity is good. I am excited about both for different reasons and I can't wait till they eventually get to the consolesYes, PMR does seem to be laser focused on the motor racing aspect - which I like. I'm also looking forward to AC Evo. Although that's going to more diverse, what with all the road cars and open world etc - which I'm not quite so keen on, but I'm sure I'll soon warm to it. However I'm glad they seem to be different in character, I think there's a place for both approaches.
I think I need to dial acc in, let I played it, I remember it feeling like a spaceship gliding just above the pavement, didn’t even feel close to gt7 which isn’t correct. There’s just so many options and settings, I probably missed something. That being said, not a fan of the cars at all. Gr.3 and Gr.4 are my least fav in GT7 too hahaHope we will get good news in the next months, there's really been nothing for deep track racing sims on consoles since a long while, and pc2, ac.
Ac has limited tracks and features on console, and pc2 runs just ok at best.
Getting long in the tooth., unless pc2 had a good update.
There's acc, i forgot hehe, but idk, it's limited in appeal. I didn't even get the gt2 and challengers, and the usa and nurburing nords dlcs for it.
Admittedly, i haven't even used my wheel in a good while, need fresh up to date running sim, with cool content, historic racing cars, old and modern top sports cars, cool tracks, and features.
I get tired fast of less sim games and using just the controller. Just a distraction.
Edit: well..., i moved my lazy butt and plugged back my wheel, and played some acc on ps5, and good lord, i must have forgotten how amazing it is, or didn't have the right mindset before.
What an amazing experience, feels so engaging, immersive in cockpit pov, and authentic.
I like all the different classes i have for now, gt3,4 and a couple of club cars, each a different feel and challenge.
It really is a whole different level from ac1 and pc2. And top quality in most ways, for me.
I went to sleep much too late last 2 nights lol, i was mesmerized by it.
One sequence where i took that 1st heavy bumpy chicane on zolder, and an ai bumped me to the side, trying to pass me, and my car bounced a little sideways, and found back grip.
The way it felt in cockpit felt so authentic, believable, 1st time in a long while i feel such a jump in quality in sims.
Reminds me of when i tried pc sims back long ago, like gtr1, gt legends, rfactor2, and live for speed i think.
Still looking forward a lot to gtrevival, for more historic racing, even if seems limited for now, if its mostly just a remake of gtr2, with those few gt3 cars, a few gt1 or gt2 cars i think?
But i can wait much easier now that i rediscovered acc hehe.
Im getting all dlcs for it for sure now, the gt2, the challengers, and tracks.
Most on sale now on pstore too.
Edit2: it seems the last many months just limiting myself to lesser games like gts etc made me feel bored of sim style games, thankfully i rediscovered the thrill with a great sim.
Are you sure you don't have that backwards? GT7 feels like you're on underinflated balloons for tires. You can just keep turning the steering wheel and nothing happens. Like a disconnect. In ACC, I can feel the difference in low and high pressures through my wheel on the curbs. How the car reacts is proportional to the pressures. Low pressures get you a sloppier feeling and higher pressures get you a more snappier response at the cost of losing the rear. AC Evo is right there in that ballpark too.I remember it feeling like a spaceship gliding just above the pavement, didn’t even feel close to gt7
Well what I’m saying is, that’s how it felt to me when I played it, almost felt like playing wipeout. So I must have a setting wrong. I drove everything stock, I have the g pro, at the time, I wasn’t feeling it. The car was also leaning an incredible about. I didn’t care to sort it out since I don’t like those cars anyway. Seems like a good game, but it was too hardcore online, taking forever to get to a race and then some bozo wipes you out first lap and you’re done. Are you sure you don't have that backwards? Yeah I downloaded the game, bought on sale dirt cheap, fired it up, raced a bit and hike I liked the FFB, for some reason visually the cars felt disconnected from the road. It was probably a combination of many things.Ohhh, you know what happened, you probably had very underinflated tires because they don't come "ready to go" by default. You had to pop up the pressures a bit. Probably felt like dragging a spoon through your soup. lol
The cars come alive when you get the pressures up to ~27.
Maybe you're playing in 3rd person?Yeah I downloaded the game, bought on sale dirt cheap, fired it up, raced a bit and hike I liked the FFB, for some reason visually the cars felt disconnected from the road. It was probably a combination of many things.

Maybe one day I’ll boot it up again, but by the time I get around to the project motor racing will probably be out anyways.
You can set look to apex in ACC like you can in PCars2Maybe you're playing in 3rd person?
It feels so much better in cockpit pov.
And in 3rd person, ac and pc2 seem better for the camera at least, its too stuck on the car in acc.
Im on a g29 in ps5 and it's super, much more natural feel than in ac and pc2, and ofc much more feel than in gt.
The tracks also have much more character in acc than in gt etc. You feel so well the bumps, curbs, and how the car reacts.
Sound is also better in cockpit in acc.
