We had 12 laps and I had 30 litres of fuel, ran out on last corner:crazy: never had enough roll to make it to finish line.
So that gives you an idea of how much fuel to use.

Man i feel so outgunned at imola... guess my car choice was a bad one.

2-3 secs off marco and car hard to keep on track. Not going to be a fun race this time.

Sorry to Mec_pc in race 2, you was lagging back and forth down the main straight wasn't sure how far along I was going into turn 1 and out broke myself, we touched. Sorry for that. My mistake.

Same with Don, I'm sorry about the contact, I had half a cars width along side you going into the final chicane but didn't think you saw me, sorry for the contact. waited and let you go and then got a 10 second penalty twice... stupid system lol

Evidence 1:14.10 and 1:19.10

Np, Markeeez. I just wonder: Why didn't you wait this time??

I also agree with @azidahaka. Don't get me wrong. I don't blame you. Noone is beyond mistaking but of cause it must be held to a minimum. It was clear you where the faster one, and you'd got me later same lap surely. Just saying I seriosly like the idea of "...all contact is to be avoided at all costs..." I think in the long run racing basicly will live or die depending of this...

Btw: Not sure I like the idea of waiting. Potentially makes mess more messy when other drivers arrive. Specially 1st lap when there's a crowd of drivers all around. If we do crash into someone there's really nothing to do about it -besides eating the shame and accept the penalty @azidahaka might bring down upon us :-0 ...Waiting will not make up for everybody passing while you heal your wounds and dust the dust to get back on track.
So far it seems that's how we do it. I guess all should obay to this then. Brings me right back to the start: I don't get why you didn't wait...

While I didn't take anyone out, I'm not helping with the driving standards, as it seems I'm not able to control my car. I need to back off the setup and just put a lot more work into being consistent lap after lap before I come back to the series. While it sucks that I'm not finishing well despite good qualifying and decent starts, I'm far more concerned about the fact that I'm always losing control while someone's right behind me, putting them at risk too. Thank you guys for doing a good job of avoiding me.

I'd like you to stay if you're not made up your mind completly. By staying you'll learn. Remember only one driver takes the title. The rest pack got to be thinking in same terms as you do: "If I'd just done that tiny little bit better... " ;-) You drive clean -and fast. I don't see why any hurry. You properly don't get any more committed by leaving anyway

I guess it sounded like I was giving up on this series, but I'm definitely not. I might just miss this week's race if I'm really not happy with how the car is coming along. I'm expecting to show up though, and have a much more usable setup by then.

Assetto is giving me some of the most fun and challenging racing I've had in a while, just need to go back to square one with this car.

Running the same times as you mate, I just need to keep it on the track! There's a few places it's easy to go off. I'm sure there will be others around this pace to race with.

I had 30 litres too and only just made it.

I did feel I was close enough to get you in the chicane as I was literally right on your bumper, and I been struggling down the straight as I had my gear ratios quite short so I had to take the opportunity then and there. I admit I should of just waited and picked a better moment which I will learn from the next race.

Imola will be tough for sure, it's quite bumpy with the kerbs and just keeping the car on the track will be a struggle, after loads of practise on Barcelona GP, I still managed to spin while leading both races! So frustration on myself.

Did you read about the fov setting? You use one so wide it distorts anything you see and certainly won't be of help

Thanks - I then helped you to become an even better driver? That's great and I'm proud. lol

Yeah, you were d.mn close. I was certain too that you'd go for it ;-) And actually I had no worry at all that we'd both be alive after the chicane. -Then guessed you'd maybe dropped some coffee or something...(rl) ;-)

I look foreward to Imola - praying for an all together good event for everybody. I believe this hi-fi serie by karsten's deserves it

Still using pretty much the same setup as one I found from this

and it works better for all tracks so far, just change last gear sometimes.
It handles really easy and is quicker so I don't even bother to look for imola setup, well I couldn't find one so use this still.
My best lap was 1.45.2 and nearly got 1.44s but ****ed it up when I was a few tenths up but for sure I could get it. Don't know what the track surface was like though.
Best racing would be no setup and we all have exactly the same car but that would look boring.

Does my car always have to be baby blue or can I have another colour?

No clue about color...

And yeah my plan was a f4 series with no tuning allowed. Sadly no one was interested in it...

Do you reckon no tuning would make for better racing? Personally I would have just end up fustrated driving the twitchy mclaren around Barcelona spinning out every time I touched a kerb. There plenty of setups available on YouTube to start as a base and then just adjust through trial and error.

What I mean is we would all be equal then no excuses for being slower just pure driver skill wins alone.
I hear what you saying my point is That stock setup could suit the way some people like to drive and not favour others. Open Setup sharing I think Could be a good solution.

That's some decent times. Better to have even laptimes.
Nope mate these are hopeless times, 4 seconds of pace and on a very risky setup I may crash with... ads you know me, I'm not one for taking risks usually.

The stock setup on the f4 is 100% nice and neural in my opinion, but I guess it's pointless to talk about it since we do run with setups...

Sadly this game has no proper setup sources, many are outdated from ancient ac versions with wrong tires and such.

As always setup will make or kill races, no way around it.

Haven't tried it to be honest. The formula gulf f4 from pcars gave me awful trouble last year in stock form. I've no problem passing on settings anyway if it makes for closer racing. I'd rather have a 20 lap duel for fifth then run up front alone.

I'm finally getting somewhere with this car. Not sure I'm race-ready yet, but once I started to tune the dampers, things started turning around. The stock bump settings on the 650S leave almost no margin for error at the car's limit. Now that I've adjusted it the car is much more forgiving (easy to catch) past the limit and a little easier to drive on the limit. I think I also can play around with the alignment more to round things out and get it more consistent without destroying my tires.

Yeah. Maybe we can even mix the setups and the cars - lol. Sorry, but I bet the faster ones will still be the faster ones. Not that much to do about that ;-)
I guess you still need a lucky strike or at least get yourself 488% more motivated than the better ones to get there :-)
I'd love to do races in standard-cars default setups.
But we got to accept different kinds of racing. Some demants this and others demants that. Please respect this serie for the demant of skills regarding tuning (you of cause decide for yourself if to use the option). That's the rules. I'm also in for a serie without this option. Both has something I enjoy very much

sorry i was this inactive but i'm doing works in my flat so my free time is really shallow... And my setup will be a shame for sunday's race >_<

Im in boss, Sunday 8pm Irish time yeah? Have a question people might not be too happy about, i dont have the season pass and dont really want to pay €10 for 1 track (Red Bull Ring). Would it be possible to even have a poll or vote for a replacement of that track incase some people dont have it?

If not dont worry about it im still a happy camper either way i know you have put a lot of effort into this series :)
