I'm finally getting somewhere with this car. Not sure I'm race-ready yet, but once I started to tune the dampers, things started turning around. The stock bump settings on the 650S leave almost no margin for error at the car's limit. Now that I've adjusted it the car is much more forgiving (easy to catch) past the limit and a little easier to drive on the limit. I think I also can play around with the alignment more to round things out and get it more consistent without destroying my tires.

LOL .- You've got me there :banghead::lol:
Good news for you. :gtpflag:...a bit more complicated to me I guess :nervous:
See ya sunday I hope

SOMEBODY please HELP
I might be both blind and foolish, but I just can't seem to find these default track-conditions anywhere. Please show a bit mercy and let me in on this info?
Track temp.? "Old", "fast" or even "optimum"?

I'll kindly thank you up front

Im in boss, Sunday 8pm Irish time yeah? Have a question people might not be too happy about, i dont have the season pass and dont really want to pay €10 for 1 track (Red Bull Ring). Would it be possible to even have a poll or vote for a replacement of that track incase some people dont have it?

If not dont worry about it im still a happy camper either way i know you have put a lot of effort into this series :)

I'll go for any track

sorry i was this inactive but i'm doing works in my flat so my free time is really shallow... And my setup will be a shame for sunday's race >_<

I completely feel that, cause I would rather not drop that money on DLC for one race either if I were you. I'm fine with any track, but I'll just throw out a suggestion: Brands Hatch.

I think it's much easier now that I've changed it, but I imagine that the stock damper settings are probably pretty favorable for actual GT3 drivers. Which I am definitely not.

I know that the track will be set to Optimum by default. I have no idea about the temperatures though. I try to get a reasonable ambient temp going for my test sessions and make a note of it, so that if the actual room is a bit different, I can adjust the car and be on my way.

Out again as I'm already committed to another series :guilty:
Would like to race with you guys someday, or if this series is shifted to another day, or if you do another one on another day!

Thanks. I might be nerdy but differences in temp. might need one to change strategy spec for the long race. Not just like changing tirepres, but maybe even a quistion of compounds also. And other stuff too -Not that I testet so far.

But I don't get how the info are so hard to discover. I looked everywhere I could possibly think of :-(

Reg. default McLaren setup I can hardly imagine that it suits anybody like it is. Well I'm no expert and its really a matter of personal prefer mostly - I guess... :-)

See ya sunday

Edit: To make it easy to read...

Get on track, change nothing from settings regarding track conditions. That's it, I never played with those settings before so I call them default.

To follow up to this, there's really no way of knowing for sure what the settings will be. For instance, my PS4 was giving me very low track temps and a very early morning time. Then yesterday, I did a career race at Imola. And when I went to practice in the GT3 car again, the track settings were the same as the career race. Then I did a Special Event at Imola, and when I went to practice in the GT3 car again, the track settings were the same as the special event. So it remembers what the track settings were the last time your ran it and should keep that.

All that really means is that we just have to wait and see what the weather conditions are like on race day. No one's going to know what the exact weather is going to be ahead of time, just like in real life, and I think that it keeps us on a level playing field for the most part.

Oh i see what you guys mean now! I never changed anything so it should be fast track 13:00 and 30ish degrees... If i have a bit of free time i'll post details, i was positive creating an online room was always with base setups for all drivers
