Not an excuse just an explanation into why it happened. Normally in the leagues I entered before when someone has an incident, they will send a report to the host which they will manage and not have a couple of pages of pointing fingers. You got to differentiate that this is a game and not reality.

You used it to help justify your behaviour. That by definition, is an excuse.

Pretty much all leagues I've been in have been the same and honestly I think there should be an incident thread or something where a brief description of the incident and evidence should be provided with no discussion allowed, designated stewards can then assess what happened and deal out penalties as appropriate. Would keep a lot of the petty BS out of things.

This not being reality also has nothing to do with it, and I'm not sure why you bring it up. The whole idea is to make it as close to reality as possible given the tools we have available, which are far from perfect but most things people have been whining about over the last few pages have been human error/poor judgement rather than short comings of the game.

I think the best way to handle this is to be extra careful in Silverstone this weekend, it goes for everyone really, but especially people who had contact.

We all make mistakes, look at me causing a ripple effect in Room 1, race 2. I would put this down to a bug causing my car to lift, but the bottom line was the car spinning caused a little mayhem as the knock on effect went down the field.

Hockenheim as a track was maybe not the best choice early in the series in hindsight, as there are big braking points from high speed to low speed, coupled with a more narrow track, this led to larger difference in speeds and the potential to have an accident.

Silverstone is much more flowing and should not have as many incidents due to this (my famous last words lol - don't let me down guys!!).

Just to remind everyone You cannot win the race on the 1st corner, but you can certainly lose it!

To finish first, first you must finish. That goes for the whole race, not just the 1st corner. It is a marathon, not a sprint ..........[insert further motivational statements here]

Lets have fun with clean close racing, that is at the end of the day why we all bought this racing sim is it not?!

Nah it's going to be awesome. Silverstone was great in Karsten's series over the summer. I vaguely remember being in the 58's then so I should be more competetive for it than Hock'.

Guess the only way to be safe is to stay up front and alone... Let's see if the M3 will suit the track.

I must be the only person hear not looking forward to this track don't get the thrill factor from it to wide prefer tighter more edge of your seat tracks lol should be some good racing as the race goes on and people's tyres go off audi people I'm looking at yous

There are loads of run off areas though at Silverstone and the track is wide. There are obviously sections where you cannot overtake (Maggots & Beckets), but the circuit lends to cleaner racing I would think.

I had a very good race last night at Silverstone was side by side with oz a lot and had no problems. Its a great track to race round.

Ehm just to let all people know, the liveries in replay are different for all replays... They get randomized, so do not call on other based on car color or livery.... T_T

Also a bit or Race 2 Highlights

It was another unlucky race, with damages received at turn 3 lap 1 from 2 drivers that had issues themselves, then i was magnetized again, then i had problems and crashed when 2 drivers in front had their own issues and re-entered track dangerously; lastly i spun out weirdly probably due to suspension damages or something like that.

I envy @svenvangent that missed all this pain

But there's also a great start dodging a slowpoke mclaren and some good battles in it too with multiple views too.

What time this evening Karsten it is now 19.35 ,all be around 21.30 online.
Best for the moment is 1:59.900 so lot of work to do to go in the 58 I'm dreaming I think 58 pffffff fast I would say .

Funny thing about the qualifying for race 1 is that I had only been below 1.37.4 once during the whole week and I did a 1.36.8 on the qualy, on a lap where I messed up the last right hander before the 2nd sector time so badly that I was actually going to return to the pits but as I got a green sector time I just thought i'd finish the lap anyway.

Got the shock of my life when I saw the time lol.
