On a serious note, @Zakspeed_TV @ozwheels can you guys tell me what i'm doing/taking wrong?



I think that i'm losing some time on the mid section but i can't spot or understand what it is making me so slow... Probably i take some wrong lines, but i'm always alone training (beside sven that plays with mines lol) so i can't check on other driver's line/splits.

@svenvangent this is the FOV i'm using on my setup as i showed you... looks so great while playing!

So where do you change that FOV affair ?
karsten , Another question , if you ghost for a online race how many drivers can you invite at ones ?
I can invite 8 drivers at one time .

8 but you can make multiple invites.

I would say your slow on the main braking points 3,4,6,7,15,16 this could be because of no abs and your scared of locking up, maybe?

So lines are ok?

Yes i can't get too deep on brakes for a lock up is really dangerous. Actually the only part I'm light on brakes is turn 3 on the other parts I go as deep as it gets.

Yes lines look good and you keep good speed in the fast sectors, just braking point look a little slow.

Try testing with abs, brake late and hard and see what you get. I think in online short races with aids on i would pick the M3 over the audi and Z4, at this track anyway.

I was just in a public lobby and Silverstone come up so i thought i would try the M3 for the first time there, got a 57.8 out the box, thats with a quick 2min tune. Feels really well round there, was shocked how well it went 👍

Ok I should just quit... Spent hours and never got under 2 mins. Training, tuning etc etc only to be in a 2.01 pace.

Then one can jump in and get a winning pace in 10 mins? T_T

I'm clueless, even if you had abs on it's impossible to be that fast... What were your split times?

Ah ha , remember.... the time of day and weather conditions do play a part tho.

blast it knowing Zak, it could be snowing and still get 2.00 mins

Ozwheels , you just did a practice session and I saw that the track temperature was 32 degree , at which time did you set the hour of the track ?
If You did set it at 11.00 AM I have always 37 degrees around this time with light cloudy .
For me it make me almost 1 second slower at 32 degree .
Not that I'm complaining at least something works good in Project cars .


EDIT : I think i know which time it was set in your practice session because i had to set at 8.00 AM in the morning to have the same 32 degrees .

first race is at 11.00 AM , light cloudy no car rest may be used while racing
secondo race is at 14.00 PM , light cloudy no car rest may be used while racing .

Now something's else what is concerning me ,
Just done 3 laps at 8.00 AM with the same 32 degrees as in Ozwheels practice session and was immediately a half of a second faster .
the feeling of the car feels different if you practice offline and than go online this with the same setup and the same degrees on track .

Should be 93/33.8 for race 1 and 90/32.2 for race 2. Don't forget the light clouds and October 11 2015.

Ooooooo my god my day was standing at 7 of august at 11 AM so I've practice a whole week in summertime Jezus stupid
Now i can start all over again .

30 min : by 2/min average per lap = 15 so 18 would be 36 min .
15 laps would be enough me think so .

Just for the fun I have already done some laps at Bugatti for next week .... that's a good track for the BMW M3 love it .

Well i guess i have to rework a few things then. Too bad i do not have the time or chance to make changes/test/fixes. So it'll be a disadvantage for both setup, tires and fuel.

I seriously doubt I'll finish either race tomorrow. EVERY time I've tried a long race on my 13th lap my car starts doing the moonwalking glitch. This time I couldn't being the car down for a full 2 minutes.
