Don't think spraying oil in there is a good idea. Dirt, pet hair etc and oil is not a good mix. Try taking them apart and use some lithium white grease.
I have a cover the wife made to keep dust out when not in use.

The switch bottom right pushes in for PS Button function. Push right/up for Options button. Push left/down for share. I was unsure too until I actually got hold of mine!OK, I stand corrected. Counted the buttons on both wheels and the RS had more. Wasn't sure what to make of that manettino on the GTE. If it serves as PS-button, all is good. Then the only difference is the button layout and lack of PS-specific marking. That's not bad at all. Sorry for talking out of my 🤬.
As you were.
Yeah, apparently some of that stuff is hard to get in Europe. @PRO_TOO ordered his rubber thingies from Hongkong.I can find the rubber feet on amazon.co.uk but struggling find the waxman rubber pads on any UK site, on amazon they are £18 plus more for postage which i refuse to buy lol
Anyone in the UK/Europe know where i can get these
Or if there is another type i can use/different mod?

I think I'm gonna try using a squash ball first, as @Schumi-01 suggested, because I don't know how stuff super-glued to the pedals will affect possible warranty claims.

One of the reasons I chose the GTE version was for the yellow badge in the middle and not the PS logo
I would love to know the results of anyone testing the squash ball mod. If someone would post back here that would be awesome
Could you send a link to someWhere we could order one of this golf balls
Hi guys, long term lurker in this area. I, like many, was annoyed that I was unable to use my current wheel with the PS4 (DFGT). As my PS4 will be plugged back in soon for Project Cars, provided no further delays, and my Birthday has just passed with some money being gained (plus end of year bonus potential), I am considering a new wheel.
I was looking at getting the normal T300 RS, however reading this thread I may go with the Ferrari GTE wheel - I hadn't realised that the buttons double up as X square triangle etc. It is cheaper and looks nicer IMO, although I'm not much of a Ferrari fan! Where is the cheapest place to get this wheel? I found the T300 advertised for £189.99 on Zavvi and The Hut but they were teases as the wheel is out of stock.
I already have a wheelstand pro and I am happy with that. The DFGT will be going on eBay to possible fund a future purchase of different pedals and a H pattern gear stick.
What's the best route to go regarding pedals and the H pattern? As I understand it I can use either T500 pedals (if I can find them separately) or the T3PA, are there any others? Same question for the gear stick, I know of the TH8A but not any other options.
ETA - Is there anywhere that does a bundle with the T3PA and TH8A? It would be simpler than buying separate and having a spare set of pedals.
Ive had excellent service from Shopto

some people seem to place either a squash ball or foam golf ball in the small recess under the brake pedal arm to give it some more resistance. I haven't tried this as of yet as I've only been playing Driveclub, but it's something I may try in future. I'm slightly concerned the increased pressure may affect the brake pedal hinge and damage it, so I'm not sure. plus the balls will deaden and need replacing every now and then.Hi all
I finally gave in and got myself a t300rs for my ps4 ready for project cars ( before the latest delay). I sold my g25 beforehand so the expense wasn't such a big deal. The problem I have is with the pedals, there is about a centimeter moment in both pedals before anything registers. I've been through this thread and it seems this is a common problem. I have the latest firmware and have tested it on my pc to make sure it's not the games that are causing it ( gt5 and f12013).My question is should I send them back or try fixing them myself? Don't really want to mess about sending them back only to receive another faulty set but equally don't want to open them up to see springs and cogs ricochet off my man cave. Any advice on either much appreciated. Also anyone know of a you tube diy fix as I can't find one.

will be properly putting my wheel and pedals to the test in May (hopefully) and make any calls then.
PS it's a really good wheel, isn't it?
Do it yourself its easy enough and you can set them as you would like, Have a look in the peritherall section there is loads of advice on there with a walk thru on how to do the pedals.
I was testing my new T300 tonight in GT5! I started the game several times but it won't center the wheel perfect. When I center it myself ingame on the track the car always drive a little to the right. Wierd. Hope it's nothing wrong with it.
I will test it in GRID2 now.
Edit: no, it's the same. When I use the blue mark on the wheel to put it in 12 o'clock position it makes the car go a little to the right.
Any suggestions?! Help!!
Edit2: when I boot up the PS3 and the wheel starts calibrating it's a little to the left. That's what makes it ingame go right when I have it centered at 12 o'clock.
I think it's kinda broken, isn't it?!
Edit3: will try manual calibrating tomorrow: http://ts.thrustmaster.com/faqs/eng/thr_eng_00158.pdf
After I received my T500 last august, I had to calibrate it manually on the ps3 the way it is described in this manual. Since it did this, the center is in the right position. Even after switching between Pc and ps3 several times.
yeah. good to hear that. will try tonight after work. After I received my T500 last august, I had to calibrate it manually on the ps3 the way it is described in this manual. Since it did this, the center is in the right position. Even after switching between Pc and ps3 several times.
i was just a little afraid...Had to do this too when i first used the wheel.
