CSL: I was refering to the sign up-roll call that was just copy/pasted instead of quoted->Remove
-tags etc..

No worries though. I'll fix it as soon as I get in front of my PC.

I'm interested: A short series over the holidays that (tentatively) includes the Gran Turismo and 8C as car options? 👍

Using app have no way to add any fancy bold or italics. :(

Also if you drop the AWD cars I will use a 430 Scud.

Also if by chance the Evo IX is added. Please please mark me for that.

Great to have you aboard Jeff! 👍

I'll see if I can get the EVO on par with the rest..
But I will keep a mix between 4WD and RWD.. So I'm sure a bunch of the 4WD cars will make the cut.

I'll let you know as soon as I start the testing in the beginning of next week..

That would be the easiest way imo.
The Saleen S7 is great, but has serious traction issues, especially on S1's. It would have to be a monster on high speed tracks most likely.

I would say probably try to avoid very heavy cars, etc. Anything drastically off average specs is probably the best way to go here.

Yes, R8 is def a car I'd approve. I'll add it right away. 👍

I'd say 570 PP is a good number to use as a benchmark. Most cars can get there.
Most cars will be at around 1400-1600 kg.
So the lighter ones need to add some ballast. Wich meens that the lightweight cars (CSL, Scuderia etc) will not be as light as stock.

I think key here is to find a good BHP/Weight value as a base, and tune from there.
The road cars a re much more equal at same PP compared to racecars imo. But I do know that some cars will have different PP's to be on par. It's just that Bhp/Weight is much more exact when it comes to road cars.
But not only the Bhp/Weight.. The weight and Bhp need to be close as well.

So a car that weigh 900 kg with 300 hp will not be a good compeditor against a 1800kg 600 hp car even though the W/HP ratio is identical.

The Dodge Viper ACR will be close to 1600kg to get on par.
I don't want the cars to be too heavy. 1600kg is a reasonable fighure for most GT cars.
The more trackoriented cars need ballast and some tunes.

Love the interest.
But don't want to sound like a b****, but please, make sure to follow the instructions in the roll call. 👍
My apologies. I misinterpreted your post and thought the driver list was what needed to be quoted and not the entire post. My mistake.

Just FYI, the Viper rings in stock at 574PP or so.
1600KG seems a bit heavy, a couple of those cars can't make that weight either, especially your McLaren. (which might need scrapped for having 20 front downforce)
Here's something that might help perspective:
600PP Shootout.

The cars, specs, and results are all there to show quite a few of these cars, and how the differences played out at 600PP. It's on RM tires though and offline, so the cars with less traction will actually suffer more here with S1's.

Here we go again...
Give up.

Yes, you're right. 👍

I've started to braking in the cars..
I aim to finalize the specs during the later part of next week.

brettcee: Nice to see you're interested in this..
But did you really QUOTE the sign up list?
It looks like you just copy/pasted the text..

Brettcee, please go back to this post and QUOTE it using the quote button. (Do not simply copy and paste the text.)

We want the list to maintain the bolded font.
Thanks.

I did. I think it's because I'm using the iPad app. Sorry I can try from work tomorrow.

It looks like we're going to end up at around 575-580 pp.. The tests this far has not begun to 100% yet since I still have a few cars to break in.. If only my bobs could run against eachother.. 💡

I think it's safe to say that the NSX and M3's are ruled out.
Sadly the McLaren F1 as well.. :(

Still got some more testing to do. I'll post the specs for you to see and have a say about when I think I'm getting close enough. Sounds ok?

Sounds good. I guess I'll change my car to the MP4-12C, then. I already have a GT2 setup for it from a previous series. I'll be able to run some tests in a few days when I get home from school.

I can send you some broken-in cars, tell me what you need and I'll start sending what I have.👍

I'm sorry to say.. But I have to work all week between christmas and new years.. :(

Anyone who want to take over the series administration is more than welcome to do so.
If not, the series is here by cancelled.

Sorry to hear that; I was looking forward to this mini-series. :(

I hope someone volunteers to take over the administration; I would be willing to help out in any capacity. 👍

I would but I lack any series administration experience (big words ). I'm currently trying to get my Sunday Cup Series to actually happen.
