Yeah I feel horrible. Yesterday was going to be my practice night finally and I wasted all the time trying to get in a room with Litchi and figuring out all the stupid update stuff. Then the girlfriend got on Skype and night was finished man.

So now I'm only going to have a couple hours of practice max... not what I wanted.
 
I might not race this week. If I am still in the back I might not want to keep going in the series. I already have others so I think this might be much.
 
I have a decent mid 13's avg tune with a ds3, if anyone is interested. I'll post up when I get home. It is a modification of wardez's afforposted(I just made that up) tune

I did 12.3 for my Q (pad). Back to the stock setup and 10mn practice about... I think I can hit a high 11'. If anyone is interested...back to the stock set ;)

Doesn't hurt to try, and judging by the way things look right now hardly anyone's going to qualify anyway except for everyone that's kept up with the thread the last few days. I have a feeling that the registration list is going to largely clear out in the next couple weeks. :nervous:
 
Again, for whatever reason, the competition scares people off.

Currently brainstorming for a solution to this problem...
 
I haven't run any laps with the car for quite a while. I have been spending some time on iRacing.. But its not the same racing a bunch of randoms:)

I will open a room in a little bit and post the number here when it is up.

STOCK? Like stock stock? Hmm.. interesting....
 
I don't feel confident enough to qualify tonight, but I have no intentions on giving up on this series:). Racing these cars is really making me focus on improving my driving line, breaking etc. My car actually feels very good - I'm sure my lack of pace is 95% skill level. Need to practice some more tonight after my boys are done playing Little Big Planet.
 
It really comes down to consistency. Qual as best you can, but in the race, just be clean, smooth and consistent. You'll do just fine. You'll also notice that even though these guys are qualifying in the 11's and 12's, that they won't be turning those laps all the way thru the race. I would even bet that their setups are different between the two. Tire conservation and consistency are key parts in doing well. Just some food for thought for those a little worried about the series.

11s I hope are not race pace (aderrm will be running 11s or better all race though), but high 12s to 13s looks like they will be race pace.
I'm using the same setup for qualifying as race day.

This is my current setup, Wardez and Litich get all the credit as it's 95% theirs.

Well if this continues this will certainly be the last season.

Edit: 8 cars have qualified so far. 2 in Division 1, 6 in Division 2.
