I may qualify within the next couple of hours if someone's there.

I'm getting off now since I have to get up in 7 hours. Maybe outlaw?

Edit: ran a 2:11.7xx with Wardez's tune and my own gearing.

Outlaw4rc and GTP_Welsh-Bain just watched my quali.

Time: 2'12.089

Which is pretty dissapointing considering I ran a 2'11.5xx last lap before qualifying, and a 2'11.399 the first lap after qualifying. Oh well, should put me in the "dance" anyway.

I have a room up:

1472-6399-8494-1424-5

Edit: never mind, going to outlaws room.

I'm putting the Miata in the garage, leaving it in there until Sunday, finish 8th, and have this as my dropped race. There's no point in driving myself up a wall for a car that simply won't cooperate. 👎

There's one clip that's perfect for what I feel about this car, but unfortunately, posting it here probably will land me in trouble. If you type in, Kurt Busch All Star, you'll likely find it.

Got down to a 13.9. Not sure if I'm confident enough to qualify or not though.

Confirmed on all of the above post ;)

Rees will be 'Racey' come Race day :D

You guys are TOO fast! :scared:

Then you should definitely quit. When the going gets tough, get the eff out??? Seriously, dude? I am sorry to rag on you but the only way you are going to improve is by challenging yourself. I know everyone would like to have you out there for the season and we are definitely more than willing to help so why not stick around?

Well if this continues this will certainly be the last season.

It really annoys me too that you put so much effort into this great series just to have people back out because they get didn't think through it before they committed.

P.S. You know I will be there to quali so don't worry about me.

Now I wish I got a better second lap in qualifying. I'm only doing 12.4s for an average lap.

Again, for whatever reason, the competition scares people off.

Currently brainstorming for a solution to this problem...

For me, even though I now like the PURE qualifying process, it's what scared me from joining this before last year.

This may sound stupid, and I don't like the idea, but we could add a rule about only posting split times, and full lap times could not be discussed, like WRS :yuck: :nervous:

Now that I was thinking in retiring due to not feeling well with the car, RT brings up prizes. Damn you! :D Im just gonna have to use one of the tunes available here on the thread. Either way, I'm doomed.

Wardez's tune works great for me. Did you try that?

How do I add a tune to the list? I thought I heard there was a link to fill out, but I can't find it.

Gotta set the top speed before moving the final drive, ftw.

I haven't been keeping up on the thread as much as I should, but I will qualify tonight after I get home from work, should be around 8 - 830 pm cst. I know I wont be able to put a flying lap in like the top guys, but hoping my pace is fast enough to trail one of the faster guys throughout the race. My tire wear seems to be my strongest advantage, seems I don't use my tires as much as most. Suzuka is known to eat tires and should always play into the strategy come race day here.

hi guys.

I've always kept an eye on this series (not as much as I should, as I have some questions lol)

anyway I would love to join in but have aways thought that the timing won't fit in with my schedule.

so what is the times in GMT? I'm useless with timezones lol, I would love to join (if there is room) the series sounds fantastic, plus a fantastic little car to drive around in lol

Should be around 8pm GMT for you. (Saturday time slot)

Edit: Tree'd. :ouch:

Link for the tuning sheet added to the Tuning section in the OP.

ok cool (thanks litch aswell), well Saturdays are a funny day for me so I maybe won't be able to make every race. But could I join as a "Part Timer" lol

Yeah but only if you're slower than me. I don't need one more faster guy than me in this series :D :D

I would like to think I'm on par with you, but even so you can be super fast with that little DS3 of yours lol

Yeah Adam isn't right, he should be doing something else like racing a real car.

Anywho, I just sent out a PM to drivers who registered and that I haven't seen around here lately to make sure they are still committed.
