macmx50e and Aderrrm didn't show.

Lord Voldemort started last and promptly quit on the first lap. I can't say I expected much more from him. He must be 14 years old or close to.

He's flaked from a couple of my series before. I gave him plenty of room when he tried to pass me through the esses because I didn't trust him at all.

We really need to start that blacklist of flakers.

I was willing to race and finish it, but apparently 13 cars is the max a Suzuka :grumpy:

To be honest, the reason you didn't race is because you were way off pace. If you can't complete two qualifying laps without going off, you were not ready for the race.

Better luck next week. :)

Here's my full race report (We're the cats, Suzuka is the 'bot):

Yes, it never fails. Had third, then Paginas snuck around and took it.

I have never beaten Paginas at Suzuka, I was so excited thinking I finally did it :/

hehe I was just sitting back waiting for a good opportunity to pass you 2 and bang you guys handed it to me on a plate lol

We should have a 107% rule.

Also, can races finish under caution or will the yellow not be waived within the last 1 or 2 laps?

Edit:

Did you see this:
Thought I called last spot I see shovanistig in provision spot.Hows that work?

Yup give it to gravy :) forgot about the rain debacle. So I'll just be ready in case there's a no show.

I don't care sure some one won't show any way.

OK, gravy you got it.

Stig, be on alert in case anyone is a no show.

Was very interesting with the saftey car, I got chance after chance to sort myself out with the saftey car coming out and everytime I blew it, my lap times were all over the place. Not Happy with my performance but the result could have been alot worse so I'll happily take it. :D

That was one of my main reasons for having a safety car is to bunch everyone back up and make the racing closer. Now, as some of you saw today I won't throw a caution for everything. Usually it's for incidents with 2 or more vehicles involved.

After 5 laps in, and 5 laps before the finish. So this weekend that's after lap 5, before lap 22.

The only exception is if you are under safety car and I give you permission to pit. Damaged cars can of course pit during this time.

yeah I was glad when it was called when I hit Dr.Watson as I felt pretty bad as that could of ruined his race. Cause the safety car came out I think he either kepted his place or only droped 1 place.

I was watching you guys when that happened and I saw how much it effected both of you as you pretty much came to a dead stop. (and Watson was facing the wrong direction) Plus the damage....it needed to come out.

Sorry I didn't show today. Had FMSC in my mind all day right up until I came off the PS3 just before I put up the GT4 room. Didn't help that I forgot I was going out all evening and didn't remember until midday, and I still can't get used to doing this on a Saturday. Should be here next week.

he gained a place, as his pit crew were super fast and got out infront of me ha

and adam tried my best to bring in the points for us! 3rd place for the new guy, plus I got to beat Eddie once again at this track hehe

So that's what happened....
Your pace was was missed but cicua and wii did a great job filling in 👍

The first lap I just misjudged one of my turns, the second I misjudged my braking point at the chicane, I was more than ready IMHO

You were still over 10 seconds off the pace. We are more than happy to help you get up to speed but you first need to realize that you need help. If you think that you were more than ready you obviously don't realize that your "error free" 2:25.000+ laps just won't cut it.

I was still 2 seconds faster on my barely dirty lap than macmx503 was. I'll admit I'm not the best, but I still think I should get the shot to race when the spot is available

I know some had a rough race today, but obviously I am happy with it. For once I had a race without major mistakes, and that made it. I tried to get away, but from start to end, wiifreak was almost always in my mirror, just could not shake him off. Every time I got just a little gap I made some small mistake and he was up on me again. He seemed to just play it safe in my draft, and so I expected to lose it all in the end. And it was very close on lap 26, side by side through the first turns on pretty bad tyres. But then a small mistake from him made a gap just big enough that i could hold it home.

It was fun with the "safety car" (only missed to actually see it on track :dopey:). Both times when it was called out wiifreak and I had made a gap which was then cancelled, but that is exactly the unpredictable stuff that happens IRL. Like!

I am sorry for the first restart mess, I was unsure but decided on the start line because at least I did not want to do a "false start" at the finish line.

It was fun when the whole field pitted on lap 13. An interesting side effect of the safety period is that it cancels out random pit time differences.

FWIW here is the tune I used today. Except for the tranny it is still a moving target...

Edit: Updated, now without typo's...

Finally, thanks to R1600Turbo for creating this series and stewarding the race! Looking much forward to the next 10 saturdays

... And macmx503 didn't race.

I like your enthusiasm and I am glad you want to race so keep coming to the practice rooms and you will improve. Watch other people's laps and see where you are losing time, where you are going too slow, etc. Monday is a holiday so I don't have to work so I will probably be on GT5 practicing at Tokyo and would be more than willing to coach you. 👍

I am so sorry to say this, but I am quitting the series. I have no time to lead with all the series I am in. Now with college, I get less time to practice during the week. :( I'm sorry for the late notice RT. Someone can take my spot on the team. I'm thinking of leaving GT5 after I finish the series I am currently in.

Good luck to everyone in here. 👍

No.....
Really sad to hear your could be off GT5. Had a couple great races with you when I could keep up.
