DC'd. Not looking good. I will try again. Number above.
WOOOT. 1:39.346 during mock qualifier just minutes before my real run. I'm pleased with the 39.5 for sure. Hopefully it holds up. Car feels great. Driver is comfortable. Ready for some action come Saturday. Bring towels cause it will be sweaty. LoL
Np. Sorry to hear about your loss, always tough to mind anything else during those times.
The thing is, this isn't a drop in and drop out series, we scramble behind the scenes everytime anyone leaves or joins, so it's tough if we don't know the status of drivers we accept into the field if you get where I'm coming from.
It would be good to have you on reserves as before. Just gotta put in just a bit more effort in communicating and staying up on the series' status because we put in gobs of effort ourselves.
Rees went with me to Silverstone last year, after that he had his first baby and so he's focusing on that. Don't know if he'll return anytime soon sad to say.
I have two questions for those with much more experience.
1. What is the correct/best point to shift to the next gear?
a. Before the red zone
b. Before the rev limiter
2. What impact does hitting the rev limiter have on lap times?

Hitting limiter probably costs .050 - .100 each time id say .
Every car is different and the best way to test to get the perfect shift point is to look at the curve in the settings menu that shows max power and torque .
If you have route x you can test there as well .
Just an FYI. I've decided to participate in this weekend's race after all.
For those running 38s-39s, kudos to you because I'm having trouble getting below 40s. Honestly, if I can somehow get into D1 and have a boring, uneventful race, I'll take it. I'm actually more worried about spinning the Arta than anything else. Only did one 10 lap run, and the rears were cooked compared to the fronts. Odd since I removed all rear camber, and shifted my brake bias forwards.
I'll likely be around.Anyone going to be around for practice/qualifying tonight?
Well I put up a 1:38.730 in practice so I decided to try and put in my qualifying.
