EDIT: the opening of a room 15 till with car count worked flawlessly. No randoms. No lag. No connection issues. SICK!!!

Completely disappointed with my race today. 2 stops was better, but I thought it could not be done. Turns out it COULD be done, and I only realised on lap 15.

At that point I decided to stop just one more time, which was lap 27, after having stopped on 11. That meant a last stint of 18 laps, which was obviously too much for me. If I had tried to do 15-15-15, who knows, but I messed up, big time.

Next time I won't be able to race, since my job will have me away from home (which means third missed race on CALM as well, much to my anger). I'll miss Tsukuba, which I love, and next two races before the summer break are on tracks that I don't like. My motivation is literally flying away and while I plan on sticking until the end of the season, I really don't know why. I don't feel I have a reason to do so. I'll... just do it.

Not sure about you GV. But my tire wear was bad. 12 laps. First stint of 15 killed me. So I did an extra stop cause I was already off pace.

Having my Trans a bit to high didn't help either..

Great race every one. Nice win Owen and congrats Plc and twist. 2nd and 3 rd. 1 stopper for the leaders in d2

I had a blast this time guys. Had some great battles with a few of you. Can't wait til next weekend.

Hopefully we can have some practice races during the week because I need practice running on a congested track.

Congrats to Josh and Owens for their victories

And congrats to everyone who did a 2-stopper, really good work!

For me this was a forgettable race, not a chance in the suby with that front tyre wear. I even considered if 4 stops would be faster but ended with "only" 3. But then even with fresh tyres I was well off the pace of the leaders, so not really my day or track. I seem to have forgotten the lines on Fuji, or I just could not hit them with this car and setup.

Hopefully Tsukuba will be better. Just had a little practice there with Josh, we did mid 55's, and I am already getting exited to run it! :)

And yeah practice races is a good idea here 👍

I know getting to work is good, seeing how the world is nowadays. But missing Tsukuba is a big disappointment to me. Damn PSN problems last week! I should have missed Nürburgring! :)

Thanks guys. I owe alot of the win to Iforce and Nige. They both spent some time on track with me. We checked tire wear and had decided before race that one stopper was my goal. Avoid damage and do one. Few days prior to race I found speed. Was running low 59's. Meant to reQ but just got side tracked last night and couldn't get it done. So knowing this and watching people practice before race. I knew there was a chance to break free. Had to play it right. Needed to draft to the lead by the stripe then use that extra speed to stretch out. Few of these and I was able to break free. However strings of low 39's left my tires on the wore side. It was time to relax and hope I could hold the lead. Second an third pit giving me a good 36 sec lead. By lap 23 they was back at 20 sec. Pit stop I dropped to third with nobody around. Sweet. Time to drop the hammer and catch the leader that were 14 sec out. Was able to catch them before their next stops. Now I was set with a 20 sec lead again and not nearing to stop. As well I watched my tire wear closer this stint. Wanted lil something for the end. Smooth sailing to the end. They made up sometime as I was 11 out on the leader.

Could not have asked for a better race. Appreciate all that showed up.

Congratz Jeff!!

Oh, and nice to see you're around GV.. Started to miss you around these forums.. But on the other side, I have'nt been in here much.. Real life stuff keep me away from any fomr of concistant racing..

I do however see some light in the end of August..

Check the interest check forum.. ;)

First of all, congratulations to OwensRacing on totally dominating the race from start to finish. For the first 8 or 9 laps I managed to stay with Owens and we opened quite a gap back to 3rd. I even ran a 1:39.8, which for me was very quick. Then after missing anapex or two and going too deep into the final turn on lap 9, I had lost the draft and couldn't close the gap. I figured I would pit a lap early and try to catch him in the pitstops. So I pitted at the end of the 13th lap, only for Owens to keep going and going and going. He managed a 1 stop,we'll done sir.
Now it was my job to keep second place. Plc hunted me down lap after lap (maybe using a little too much run-off at turn 1 though). We carried on battling lap after lap until I made a mistake going too deep into the final turn looking for a good exit and spun.
It was now that I pitted again and settled for a comfortable third place.
Well done to all on a great race with very little , if any contact.
See you all at the next race. Everytime I am very online this week I will running 10 lap mini races with a 15 minute break in between for tuning etc. Everyone will be welcome to join, I will post in the forum with any room numbers.

Finally, to GTP_Pag happy fathers Day.x

Quick question guys. What is the % on the power limiter for the FTO at 325hp?

Cheers

Sorry, was off the PS3 - 73.2%.

Had a good race today - no major stupidity from me for once was a plus. Bit tentative first up, but that's what you get for sleeping through warmup! Lots of running with my team-mate - Jon is always a pleasure to run with, and he even manages to put up with my dumb lines :dunce:

Jeff, I've no idea how you held on to that thing for a one-stop - I saw you went down to 2mm fronts! I actually had more tires left at than you when I went in at 15 - more than understandable with your pace up front - and the FTO was rapidly starting to feel undriveable (understeer) at that point for me. Very nicely managed 👍

Thanks for that son x 👍

Congratulations for that splendid win Owen, had a fun time myself, battling it out in the beginning with GTP_Pag, Unfortunatly he made a mistake with his pitstops, and i was able to get on track right in front of him afther my second pitstop. At that time I knew that he would be on older tyre's or he would have to make another pitstop.

It was big fun, and good fair driving Pag 👍 Hope we can do it again next week !

It was good fair racing and even so i was last and probably lapped by everyone i still enjoyed it, Not really looking forward to next weeks race it is going to be very intense for the full race,
Well done Owen on your win you must have had a good setup for a one stop, And had a better pit crew than i did i have sacked three of them anyway great race and see you all next week.:dopey:

This has fast laps from D2. I am thinking fastest between divisions gets points. Or is it fastest per division.

There aren't any bonus points for fastest laps, just 1 point for pole position. I understand we are using the CALM points system.

Good deal! I wondered and it was late. So I snagged a pic before shutting down last night. Even posted it. In the wrong thread. Lmao

LOL. Great win by the way. Have you had any practice yet. My best time is 55.8
Cicua has done a 54.9 though, definitely the man to beat this week.
