That's a shame, I was looking forward to racing you. It's been awhile since we had a good battle. Maybe when you have had a break we can resume. 👍

Not happy with my qualy, was 1.6 sec faster in practise, but everytime i have to qualify i get overwelmed by nervous, and a shaking leg, :)

Looks like we are waiting on confirmation and qually times from L_Hamilton and johnkiller2. Also whether wardez allows Adventuruss to join and race. On the sheet paulmac qualified, but he won't be racing.

Hi Adventuruss. Just for remind, you has been excluded from JGTS due to lack of participation, commitment and communication.

GATE is based as the same as JGTS, i mean it's an invitational series. We can allow you to participate with us, for sure. But hope you'll be more involved than what you did at JGTS.

Ah yea, true dad ;) I see that your eyes are so much better than mine lol. I'll fix it asap and it means that we have (atm) 2 divisions with 11 drivers.

EDIT: plans changed. Our lil girl won't be ready till Friday of next week. So planning to go on Friday evening. That won't hamper any series racing.

But hey guys who aren't registered on the PURE site (the site, not the forum) have gotten a PM requesting that they do so asap so we can get the GATE results section up to track every one.
 
Got a room up at 1472-6118-4130-9219-6298; I just intend to practice (another quali would be risky, since I've been distracted with other stuff this week, unless I suddenly find the .8 or more I left on track last time...)

Incidentally, when registering for the mini-site, I put my main PSN. I'm currently racing here with my GTP one, but never intended for that to necessarily be a permanent arrangement; my main has more online-prepped cars, and I tend to use both logins quite a bit. If it needs to be one or the other, I should swap it to the GTP one, as that has a more relevant friends list for this stuff. (ealirendur/GTP_ealirendur).

Also : it looks as though we have 20 racing this week. I had sent messages to Hamilton and Johan but it looks as though neither will be racing. Hamilton has read the message with no reply and Johan hasn't logged in. Will it be 10 in each division if that remains the number?

If anyone intends to race who hasn't already qualified or anyone who has qualified but can't race, please say so as soon as possible. At the moment we have 19 drivers in tonight's races.

Division 1 host: Paginas (Cicua) Division 2 host: Will-i-am (Owensracing)
Race distance: 200 km - 44 + 1 laps

Vehicle inspections begin at 19.45 for grid preparation, please do not chat during this time.
Field will then line up in qualifying order after a track reset in order to set the grid for the race.
Race beings and the formation lap roll will commence.

A staggered double-file line is used for our rolling start for the first lap after which the race will begin at the start/ finish line.

( First time pole sitters will be contacted for confirmation of the following regulations)
  • Pole sitter will begin on the left side of the track.
  • Even number position qualifiers will be on the right side lane of the formation. Odd number qualifiers will be in the pole sitters lane on the left side.
  • Once the GT5 race countdown has completed and the race event has begun all drivers must hold position and wait for confirmation from the host to proceed. Use your handbrakes, sit silently, report any suspicious latency between cars or lag jolting/skipping. After the host has given the go ahead all drivers will begin to slowly form up in qualifying order. The leader must act as gatherer, they must not pre-maturely advance from the group, it is their job to keep the pace slow enough until all cars are in position then proceed to formation speed.
  • Even pace at 100 kmh / 62 mph,
  • The pole leader must wait for the grid to line up behind them completely on the start straight before starting the race by applying full throttle at the start/finish line.
  • No weaving is allowed during formation lap.
  • You must not overlap the car ahead of you.
  • Do not pass any car until you're past the point the pole sitter started the race at.
  • Jump starters will be given warnings or penalties depending on severity.
  • If a driver is damaged on formation then the damaged driver must communicate this through text chat and continue at a reasonable speed to the pit area. The other cars will continue on as normal and the damaged car(s) can join the group as they come around for their first lap. At this point the formation lap will continue on for a second lap after which the race will begin. If it happens once more, the same contingency will be applied and a third formation lap will go on. After this, no more "formation restarts" will be acceptable and the affected drivers must either retire or start far behind the group. Drivers experiencing extreme lag will be asked to leave so the other drivers can race.
  • If, for any reason, a driver misses the formation start and stays behind still on the track the race will not go on, it must be restarted to eliminate the obstacle.

Hi all.
We are actually 19 qualified for the race.
The tonight rooms will be set to 16 spots available.
If 3 guys miss 10mn before the race, the least filled two rooms will join the other room.
For that, the hosts (Dan and Will-i-am) must be very tuned on this thread before the race.
I can't be the host due to my involvement in an other series. I plan to join the D1 room around 19.40 UTC.

Oh and guys, I think I'm gonna have to miss the race today. I'm feeling really sick and the stupid allergy medicine I took has some **** in it that makes it so I feel really wired, really energetic, but I still feel tired and ****** from having a throat infection since Wednesday.

So I'm just going to watch the first part of Le Mans then head to bed.
 
Correct me if i am wrong, but Paginas new qualy time has not been updated on the sheet, he ran a 1.39.465 :)
