Just f:censored:g lagged out of my best qualifying and best chance for a top 5... So mentaly pee'd off right now!! :mad:
 
Oh ok I didn't realise, I just was letting out my rage on the walls of my room :guilty:. Only just read this now :ill:.

Hope you guys have fun this was not the way I hoped to end my GATE season... :(

Wrong car for this track and race length. There is just no way in hell this car can ever do a 1-stopper, anywhere :( ... but everyone else did it today.

Anyway was a good race, congrats Dom on the win, and not at least Josh for the championship. Amazing feat man! :cheers:

Edit: And next week on Suzu, we will have a great battle for second :mischievous: :D
 
Great race! Congrats CSL! A lot of battle around the track. Had some very nice side by sides and draft battles. Good fun.

Sorry iforce, i touch you but i' don't think you have damages because for me it was just a light touch and i have no damage :( at the end of the lap you don't let me place to overtake you and i crash my car in the wall... 1-1 :'(

I spoke of this and said the '08 needed 345HP to make up for the difference.

Thanks, and a nice job yourself with the 2 stopper. I don't know if your car could make it last 11 laps on a set or not, but it's definitely much more difficult and you were definitely on pace with the top 3 today.👍

FTW, I got the best end of essentially a 3 way tie. We all lost drafts a couple times, and always caught back up to each other, no way out until someone wrecks, and nobody did. (I had that super close off/wall tap around lap 18)

A very fast top 9 today. :) If we had 2 divisions that would be a field of 9 within 35 seconds.👍
 
Today we had one of the best races I've ever taken part in, in terms of excitingness and fights between many drivers. For me it's up there with Fuji Feature race in WSGTC3. The first 9 laps were incredible with Simon, Josh, Dom and me going all out. After the pit stops I thought the battles would be over, and I confess at one point I thought we would never catch each other, as we all had very similar pace. But I was able to catch Dom after giving literally my 100% there, and Josh did the same with Dom after his mistake.

At that point, 4 laps to go, I wanted to hold it, but it soon became clear that with the draft they had, a single mistake would make me lose all the time, so instead of pushing so hard and killing my tyres which was a risk if they ended up catching me anyway, I just let a couple of laps go by, keeping a sensible pace, hoping it would all solve itself in my favor in the last lap. It didn't, but I have to admit it was all very close between the three of us!

I wanted to get on the right side of the track, entering the Bus Stop, but with three cars there in total, I just didn't find the way, and in a moment of boldness, I tried to do it from the outside. I had more speed than both Josh and Dom, and if I had braked a little earlier, I think I could have done it... but as I said in the room, we're talking about milimetrical precision driving here. The kind of move that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Today it didn't, but second place with, as Dom said, a 3 way tie, is great.

Racing with you all is a big honor for me. Particularly with such fast guys as the top 4 during the first half of the race... and Simon deserved to be there was well, definitely.

Congratulations to Josh on his title, by the way!! He's done a great job this season, and he deserves that. Shame he won't be there for Suzuka to celebrate his victory, though. And today I can enjoy another title too, as Lexus has enough points to enter the last round of the series with a title as well!

2-1 you since you hit me at Fagnes too.Your impatience put you on the outside of a driver that you had damaged trying to make a pass were only 1 car will fit.Consider that next time you dont respect the other racers on the track.

I got bumped by Adventuruss in the first couple of laps at the very end of the second sector. It put me in the dirt and.lost me quite a few spots. I don't know if it was me not leaving him enough room or vise versa so I wasn't complaining yet. I've got a lot to learn with online racing. The consistency just isn't there for me and I make fairly dumb mistakes. Not sure if I'll make the last race because I wont have much time for practice and don't feel like having the aggravation. Its a shame though, I love Suzuka...and enduros.

Jeff, I was trying like hell to catch you after our pitstops but I just couldn't do it. Never could catch the draft. Then I started making mistake after mistake....

I'll practice for Suzuka when I can but I'm only 50% sure I'll make it.

lol Iforce !!!!!!!!!!!!! you wanted revenge ! we can pass and overtake at blanchimont... i never had any problem with another driver before... i just do an error
 
Blanchimont is pretty much impossible to pass cleanly in.
Before and after sure, but not in the corner, you'd need 2 aliens to reliably hold their line and stay on track 2 wide through there. Even then a high rate of impacts and offs.
 
Trajikone passed me there. He had a better run approaching it and once he pulled alongside my rear wheel, I lifted slightly so we could take the corner side by side. I stayed tight and he stayed wide. It is possible but it requires both drivers to hold there own line and respect the other cars line. I had a great battle with Trajikone for about 20 laps, wheel to wheel. Not once did we touch. It was a real pleasure to race with him. 👍
 
iforce push me on the right between turn 17 and 18... i was on the outside ligne, no problem for him to stay inside... he thought : revenge !!!
but it's a game, be cool :)
