I got tied up in bike riding yesterday...only from after the short Lotus race I had until midnight of course. Maybe 8-9 hours.

I think it just carries a 2% penalty? But that will still get you past the 3 non-qualifiers.

That's literally never been the rule. Who told you that?

I mean, where does a 2% late Q penalty fit if late Q's aren't allowed? To my knowledge this has been the standard since the original Pure series, JGTS. :shrug:

Qualifying deadline is the point at which you can no longer enter a qualifying room in order to set a time. All that is required for you to meet deadline is for a driver to actually be in the room before deadline, after this (due to high volume of late qualifiers) drivers in the room all have a 30 minute last-second grace period in order to do their runs.
