Don't get too upset about it, DA6. I know you mean good. In my mind, besides being obviously upset about it, I merely thought "That's racing". I mean, such things can happen, and in the end it's nobody's fault.

Sure, I may have thought that I wasn't to blame, and from my point of view when I was driving, I felt you could have been more careful about my position. But then again, I could have predicted that and chosen to avoid you through the left. Or even reduce my speed considerably to avoid any problem. So, again, that's racing man. Sometimes this kind of thing happens, and it can't be helped. Don't let it get to you 👍

I used to be absolutely horrible at racing, despite having some speed. I would get really nervous (I still do sometimes), and I would mess up during the races themselves, usually, and being absolutely bad at consistence. You can ask Dom (CSL) among others, since they gave me a bit of advice during JGTS. Then, during WSGTC, I guess the good results boosted my confidence and let me focus on improving my flaws. It takes some time, but it can be done.

And when you look back and see how much you've improved, it's really cool 👍

Well, I was hoping to get to the right so I was out of the racing line . I was just going to take whatever way was out of the way. Either way, I really hope to race with you guys again. Maybe I'll try to get in on the next Super GT series...I love those cars. The best fun I had was meeting in practice lobbies and bs-ing with everyone.

Thanks for the invite to race!

Some numbers to back that thought.

Pre-break
Rounds 1-6
Avg 18.1 qualifiers
Avg 18.0 finishers
Highest round was Daytona with 22 starters
Lowest round was Tsukuba with 14 starters

Post break
Rounds 7-10
Avg 13 qualifiers
Avg 11.75 finishers
Highest round was Spa with 14
Lowest round was Monaco with 12 starters

Mid season vacations 👎
Tight no passing tracks 👎

Who's getting the GT500 series going?

I'm ready for some fast and intense racing.

That's some serious numbers right there. 👍
That's how it should be!

Jeff, I don't know when the next GT500 championship takes off.. Head to gate19 and look in the series planning section. ;)

I think the problem here is not the break, but rather the fact the second half was run during August.

We still need which lap any disconnections were on and the fastest laps for those drivers. Then the table can be finalised.

Lap 2-Adventuruss-no time (went off turn 1 on comfort softs)
Lap 7-Cicua 2:06.450 accident(s)
Lap 11-Litchi 2:05.741 dc'd
Lap 38-DA6 2:05.948 accident(s)

Cicua's damage was all caused by others.Hellboyfr braked 40m too early at the last chicane causing Cicua to rear-end him on lap 4.He has then forced wide with contact with Trajikone in the "S's".That accident actually started back in turn 1 when jash hit Trajikone, running him off the racing line.

DA's troubles are already posted.

Ok, standings updated, thumb up for William, you're the only one who were here on each round, you deserve the best commitment award ;)

Right on, thank you.
Thank you for updating everything and keep it going smooth. Thanks to everyone who put in time for others, being qualifies, updates, specs, website, etc .. Great job!

I missed the round I wanted to race most. Monaco. However the dog show was worth the miss. Met great people and seen some incredible K9 athletes showing off.

Still sad to have missed it.

Anyone interested in a repeat round of Monaco for fun this Saturday?

Also I need the winner to send me a PM with what info we will engrave on the back of your Medal.

EDIT : I seemed to have missed Laguna Seca. Where was I. LoL don't recall missing any but Monaco. Then again that's been a lot of races ago for my mind to recall. I just wonder where I was to have missed. LoL going back in the thread to see if I posted what I was doing.

I don't know about the USA, since you say this, but in Spain it is more common to have holidays in August than it is in July. Thought it was the same for everyone, to be honest.

We have the 4th of July, and Labor day is the first Mon of September, no holidays in August.
Unless you mean vacations, for which I don't know, never took one.(unemployed time was more than enough) :yuck:

I meant vacations, yeah. Sorry about that. Wrong word choice there due to me not being a native English speaker. D'oh! :)

(Whatever you wish, Josh! You've earned it :D )

Youth and exuberance over age and experience :sly:.

But yeah Josh pick what you want :). You earned it 👍.

I had to google that but yes that's very appropriate :D.
