Not a big fan of it with normal tire wear.So what did you guys think about the dual heat format? Any changes you'd like to see?
If I had to change anything I'd set the race start to "based on previous result" so we start where we finished the first heat rather than just a "re-do" of the first run.

Length was ok, the pits made things interesting as it's the only way to break the DRS @ monza and without it I would have had to drive the entire first race with rear damage from a small incident.

That's interesting, we'll do that. I didn't want to run reverse grid 'cause it would make the points weird... something like 3/4 points for heat 1 and 1/4 points for heat 2.
But this would work fine with half points each.
Yeah, reverse grids suck. However if you qualify badly in multi-heats it's nice to have the ability to spend the first race clawing your way back up from like 10th to 5th, then having a chance at a podium in the 2nd race. Takes some of the "OMG I NEED TO PASS ALL THESE BITCHES NOW OR I ARE DOOMED!" aggression out of it since you can carry momentum from one race into the next.

tbh, I didn't expect the races to be quite that long, I want to aim for around 30 minutes, but the way they were at then, with mandatory pits, made for awesome full-out racing, no need to worry about tires. Guess that'd be even more true if the length was reduced to something like 75km each.
@SkengD
How'd your hosting debut go?
Had a fun race! Some slight issues and possible incidents, but other than that it was really tight and a lot of fun.
Also need D2 DNFsI didn't grab one, I'll PM asking the guys for a shot
