They Motul tune is meant for GT-R's.

I'll slap another one up there for every one later as well.

GV27
My name comes from "Gilles Villeneuve #27", while his comes from Spanish former MotoGP rider "Sete Gibernau", with his numberplate being #15. 👍

Mystery solved!

SG, use the Motul Autech GT-R tips. The car's the same ;)

Gilles Villeneuve... What could have been.

thx GV27 and Wardez, i know I'm a serious ignorant but I will learn a lot :dopey: Tonight i will do some laps at Monza to test this XANAVI NISMO GT-R jijiji

And yeah Sete Gibernau #15... Him was amazing I just can say that He is my God!!

Sorry for not being able to be out there with you Tony, thanks for the set up btw, it's brilliant I just wish I had more time to put in laps.

It's a shame cause i feel like you could achieve some great results but your general lack of time won't allow you to. Perhaps, if everyone agrees of course, we could move the start time 1 hour later. It might do wonders.:)

That was probably the most fun I had in GT5. Great group of guys to race with. My best time was a 1:33.200 from race 1, but I was constantly struggling for front grip. I just couldn't push into the 32's without fear of hitting the walls. Hopefully I'll have a little bit more pace at Monza. Congrats to all the racers. Everyone did a fantastic job. :)

High-Five Brosif... Team Autech Motul gets a nice 4,5 finish with only one point between us. We're back for a strong 2nd half to the season.

Absolutely! I'm not really looking forward to Monza since it will be a draft fest with the NSXs leading the pack but the enduros at Nurb 24h and Suzuka should be freaky naughty good time.

Is there a way that you can add a function or tab on the pure.gate19.net site that allows the user to see the driver roster for each team? Or perhaps in the driver standings you can add a column that lists the driver's team? It's just hard for me to remember which driver races for which team without having to jump to the race results page.

Yeah, i've had a team page in the works for a while, just haven't gotten to it.
The original plan was to make everything in the standings page click-able. Click on a driver, takes you to a driver-stats card, click a team you get a team stats card. Just need to work on my ambition. ;)

I'm also thinking about combining the standings and race results sections. Seems like it would have better navigational flow if the landing page for the race-results was the standings page rather than the first race.

By the way, I worked on the standings with the 2-round-drop situation. Of course this means virtually nothing since everything can change in the five rounds that are left (we've just gone past the halfway point at the championship and I want to take this chance to congratulate everyone who made it this far, and the organisation, of course), but I feel this may show a truer picture of how the championship's going. I calculated the points with Adventuruss and SG15 included at Monaco's race.

Finaly im off the bottom after my DC and data coruption at Spa then I decided not to race at Nurb due to my own lag issues (So thats my 2 dropped scores). Who'd of thought it would a track I hate so much like monaco that would get some decent points to do that .

I expect to be in D2 since I only scraped it this week but should be fun :).

I'm going to host a race with a fixed host. Anyone want to get some Monza practice in at the same time?

I do, I could certainly use some practice with a passenger. Never had one before.:)
When?

I'm just going to get the fastest laps from the D2 race. Not watching the whole replay.. So in like 15 minutes.. Sounds good?

I can, don't know if we'll have enough to call it a "race" though. :P
I'll be on in about 10-15.

CSL your "passenger" is around 15kgs heavier than me so I could be your passenger instead :sly:.

A quick Monaco report for me, after a big congratulations to Dom in his Lexus! Top job on the double victory out there and fastest lap! Also, a typically impressive drive from Tony again in his fat GTR, way to go guys 👍

After not finding time to run any practice, I eventually got on track 2 hours before the qualifying deadline and managed to set the car up, then put a few runs together to get comfortable for qualifying. This went much better than anticipated and I was able to claim 3rd in my NSX!

With my qualifying tune, the race would have been a 4 stopper for sure, but after a 13 lap test race with Dom and Bro' literally hours before flag drop (at silly'o'clock in the morning ) I thought a 3 stopper might be possible. I tweaked the car a little more to ease rear tyre wear and got to bed for a few hours of much needed sleep.

Woke to glorious sunshine and a cool sea breeze, perfect for racing! The race went as planned from the green light and I was able to hold 3rd as I watched Tony and Dom disappear into the distance. Luckily for me, I think Bro' and Pag' were battling hard behind and maybe made a couple of small mistakes to give me some breathing room. I was short-shifting a lot to ensure my tyres would last and running a consistent pace with only minor wall rubs to note. Ran stints of 14,13,13,14 to complete the 3 stopper with no drama and more importantly, no damage! The gap back to Bro' in 4th seemed to remain around the 15s mark for most of the race, which was comfortable for sure. Ran a best lap of 1'32.0xx without really pushing and was delighted to stand on the podium at a round Team Stealth driver, GTP_Welsh-Bain was dreading :dopey:

The sprint race was a whole different story. Crazy, crazy, crazy Monaco!! lol

Started back in 9th and planned to just follow for 3-4 flying laps, then pit and push hard. Got damaged on lap 3 with a multi-car incident (I believe someone had a disagreement with a wall) causing 3/4 of us to pit at the end of the lap. Returned to track, only to take some minor suspension damage to both fronts after a silly mistake which pretty much ruined any chance I had of backing up my Race 1 result. But, Monaco being Monaco, I soldiered on and was very lucky to squeeze through the carnage left by Tony and Rees, which also hurt Paul and promoted me to 5th, with Pag' in my sights for 4th. Wasn't closing in at all though due to my limping NSX, so resigned myself to the 5th place, when next thing I know, Pag is crabbing down the road and through I go to 4th. Drove to the flag for an overall podium position on a day I was not looking forward to at all.

A great result for Team Stealth NSX racing driver, GTP_Welsh-Bain who is now very much looking forward to Monza :)

(at silly'o'clock in the morning)
Good report, and great job running 3-4 at your cars worst track.

Monza.... 1:46.4xx is my PB at the moment.:dopey:
We'll see how slow and steady fairs, because that's the only card I have.

Just hoping to get into D1 first and foremost, then hoping I can snag a few people that have, ahem, err, problems. :D

Is there a room open atm? If yes, i jump in for sum practice with you guy(s), if not, i go to Battlefield 3 for sum frags ;)

Ran a few test laps at Monza with the 20kg ballast and managed a 1'45.3xx and don't see me getting any better than maybe a 45 flat. :)

It says weather off, but man I'd love for some rain.

There's a song about praying for rain...Don't make me do the rain dance and sing it. :D

Weather at Monza will be as it is in real life of the day of the race. So keep your eye on the weather forecasts.

Yes, Litchi, he did ask me. I told him that he can use them as long as he states where he got the from.
