Not atm stewarding someone for WSGTC. (Nepaliis dad ;))

Congratulations to you both, Rees! That's great news :)

We'd come over, but I think I'm a bit far away, so... I'll remember your offer, though, even if I'm not really a heavy drinker.

Can't steward you as I'm going to sleep soon. My first ever WSGTC meeting has left me exhausted. That, and it's quite late in here

I wouldnt come I cant be away from technology for over 7 hours  also I dont drink. (Id come over if I got to use your wheel :sly:)

You guys are welcome to come over to my house. I have tons of booze and no one to drink with.(We just found out my wife is pregnant) She was my best drinking buddy.

They had a special at the local grocery, that if you bought exactly 6 bottles of booze, you got 30% off the whole thing. Lol, I did that deal at least 10 times... and I don't drink that much... so you can imagine the stockpile. All good stuff too.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! (Yes, I am screaming)

Mmmmm, whisky.

Fire away. Nothing too fancy, just a G27 mounted on an old bathroom cabinet. Gets the job done though:)

Actually would love to come visit you in Scotland. I have been to quite a few countries, but never made it there. I have a lot of Scots in my family history.

Anyone available to steward a qualy run? No real hurry.

1472-6681-3243-9091-3038

I will be there shortly.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! (Yes, I am screaming)

Thanks Jamen! If you ever make it this way.. I have all sorts of different whiskies to choose from.. Hhhhhhwwwwwhisky.

I'll help you drink single malt all day long. Got any Edradour or a drop of the Balvenie and drop of water? Leave the ice in the freezer. Horrible stuff.

Cheers red.

I think you must have what is off track incorrect. I am looking at the replay and it is not even close. You can go a full half car length further over in fact. You only need to keep two tires clean.. From the replay I have... Its completely clean.

Edit- I see what corner you are talkin about now. I was thinking you meant the last corner that leads to the long sweeping right to the finish.. But you meant the sweeping corner. I can see where you think it is close. You get close to crossing the line on the inside.. but there is still more track there and you keep two wheels on the track. Same ruling.. Clean! Sheet updated.

BTW-Excellent display of sportsmanship Muzz. I really like racing in this environment(sportsmanship here rocks). Thanks again Den and Eddie for putting together such a great group!

Oh.. I thought the white line was the bounary mate, not the gutter. Pretty sure it is the white line.

[edit] I will check again.

In my view, the track is pretty obvious there. We had this discussion at Le Sarthe last season.. Similar deal. The line doesn't match up with what clearly is the track.

We can bring this up for discussion with Den and Eddie, but i am pretty sure the ruling won't change.

And to further this discussion, I can't see how any time can be gained from that. I ran this course sooo many times for the GT Academy, and there really isn't a noticeable difference in time from going that low there. It might even scrub a little as it slightly unsettles the car.

The white line extends from inside the black and white curb a ways back. To me the white line is the boundary. Could you please give me my slower 1st lap. I don't feel comfortable accepting the lap 2 time. Cheers.

Thank YOU Rees. It's the drivers here that create the fair and respectful invorement here.. not me or Eddie..

I'm pretty sure it's clean as well. Especially when rees says so. 👍

But I'd love to see a picture, cause I fail to see exactly where this trouble area is located.
Cause I thought I had all potential trouble spots pointed out.. And I had no one in perticular at Indy..

I didn't actually catch the moment he went over the line.. But you can see the line that Muzz is talking about. Its on the final bit to the finish after pit entrance.

From the pics though, you can clearly see that the surface is exactly the same down to the curb. I have never seen this clarified as illegal in any league I have been in. In fact, I am pretty sure I remember correctly from running WRS there as well... No penalty for running below that line.. Just had to keep 2 tires on track.
