Long shot.. But I don't suppose anyone is around to watch a quali run. Wife will be home in 20, which means I would have to start my run in the next 10 min.

Yes!

Thank you again Jeff. Much appreciated.

Well done teamie!! 👍

Sheet updated!

Thanks mate. I will pm you my changed settings next time I'm on. Mostly a brake balance adjustment.

@Brosif - I haven't posted to the forum in a while. I read your re-cap of the race. Awesome stuff:tup: I really enjoyed all the pics you posted as well. Makes me want to load up some old races and take some pics.

The photo of you coming through Ex-Mühle turned out great. The rear of the car just started to rotate when I pressed the pause button and I knew that you were "trying to not mash the gas and turn into a spinning top." That corner is so easy to muck up and it always seems to give me a ton of trouble.
Yer same. You gotta hit it just right and you can really nail it through the exit but get it wrong and well it's a short coast and a slow next straight.

What no mention at my snacks, im disapointed .

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Irn-Bru and Galaxy chocolate..

Where's the cheap vodka?

How's Cali getting on? St Johnston still up? I miss getting blootered at the Balinliug Inn after the football.

Trying to get in some late practice tonight before the servers go down later today.

I have to practice for other series as well, and since I raced all of last week... that's a lot of cars... and I have to change all of their oil...

I hate changing virtual oil...

huh

Well at least it's better than not having an awesome break in system?

Eddie,

Let me know if you want to qualify. I will probably be up for another 20 minutes.

Yeah, they should have dyno break-ins, that take 10 seconds. :)

:scared:

Paul, the Japanese "Race Queens" (they're called like that, there) Eddie posted are the "Evangelion" girls. They're dressed like anime characters, only that they're wearing pitbabe clothes instead of their characters' originals. But they retain the original clothes colors, etc.

I think the team that ran with the anime sponsorship was Wedssport. :)

Muchas Gracias!

Congrats on the great quali effort, too. 👍

Lol Muzz we are moving in the right direction and yes St Johnstone still up :P.

oh, btw, did you want my car setup? It's pretty different than anything I've run before and good for a high 1:28. (my theoretical best splits would have given me a 28.9 and I did get a pb of 29.1)

Of course, I need all the help I can get. :)

Race completion was tossed in the bin when we had the rules re-alignment.

Cmon Tony you getting too fat to fit in your seat?

You're not trying to secure the Team Championship?

I hope you had a good time racing here.

:indiff:

At first it was very fun but gradually after the drop-outs (Brock,Adam,Noss,Replay) and my high ballast i realized i was just competing to take the championship. With the exception of Spa, every other race with >100kg ballast was just frustrating regardless of the result.

Yes.

Ok, tony.

It was nice to have you. And I really appritiate all your kind words towards the organizers and competitors thruout the championship. 👍

But I don't get it.. You said round 3 was boring because you won so easy.. And then when you don't win that easy anymore, it's still not fun?
Or is it the drive itself that's not fun with the heavy car?
I'm asking cause I'd like some input.

Btw: I believe paulmac2k9's comment was a joke.. ;)

That's the key point. Eventually ,in order to have a half-decent tirewear but still have some pace, you end up with a GT-R that behaves worse than an NSX and has no power. Impossible to have fun regardless of the results.

And yes Round 3 was boring racing-wise but rewarding too.
