Thanks mate! It definitely was a tough mental test for us.

Yeah, after my bad start, my goal and drive to not quit was pretty much to catch up with G27. I managed to pass him after a some few and rare clean laps for me, but after that i made a few more big mistakes and figured it was all over for my poor Lexus.

At the end of the race, instead of trying to drag the broken car to pits i figured it would be better to park the car and take a look how you guys were doing at the front. At least i managed to see almost all of you crossing the finish line. :)

Thanks! Much appreciated :)

Hopefully my Castrol Supra will be seen closer to the front in Indy. After three bad races, I'm looking forward to some entertaining "American" battles!

Reached a 1:29.7xx. Not sure I can improve much more, though! I feel good on the track, however. Now I just need to know more people's times, so I can compare! ;)

i now my time at Indy is not a reference for anyone but... my best is a 1.32.3xx really weird... what's wrong with me!!! oh my piiiip god! :ouch::grumpy:

 Tony I see youve embraced your new nickname due to your ballast gathering skills .

Just took a look at the standings, i want my crown.

Wow, hold your horses!!

Even though I know you'll win, it's not over yet.
Penalties will be delt with before any final tables are official!

You're leading by 60 points, and it's 108 points up for grabs!

It aint over until the fat lady sings.. ;)

You've really impressed me this season I must say though. 👍
Awesome driving from you! 👍

I think you're mistaken. Considering 8/10 races count, i'm already champion unless i get more than 30 points penalty and you go for full points in both remaining races. I'm holding my horses tight.:) And i don't like that fat lady at all.

Maybee.. I don't know..

I get dizzy trying to get the tables straight..

Im sure TnJF has already acounted for the 2 dropped scores ;).

EDIT:

I've just calculated it, and here's how things stand:

1st: SuperSic - 291pts (308 max. if he wins both races)
2nd: CSLACR - 231pts (281 max. if he wins both races)

Now that I think of it.. tony is right..

Yes, but if tony "drops" the 2 last rounds, he'll end up with 361 points.. 💡

Congratulations Tony!

Found some footage of him celebrating:

Looks pretty dominant to me (after Dennis got a fat car and started to trail off of your nearly linear ascent).

Cool stuff Tim! yes, since my La Sarthe win, I've been doing really bad results. D2 at Monaco, disaster race at Monza where I should score a lot more points concidering my car.. Spa in the rain was nothing but a mess for the NSX drivers.. and this last week, I was really fast, but made 2 mistakes that cost me at least a podium imo..

Well, concistancy is defenetly something I need to work on..

Thanks, I like visual aids.

It's cool how that fat band of dancing spaghetti between tony's dark blue and Owens' medium green line covers 13 drivers. And I think almost every car. So I'd say it's pretty competitive.

And yeah, like I said last week. Tony wins if CSL, Dennis, and anyone else lock tony out of podiums for the rest of the season. So he should be home free now. Congrats 👍

But now Den, CSL, and Welsh are in a hard fight for 2nd.
Then another group of 8 drivers from Rees to WiiFreak fighting for 5th.

Team Gold is also very much still in play.

I wondered how long it'd take someone to see that, I was hoping I was wrong.
Very well done.👍

I'm trying to tell myself if I could have ran Spa the first time, and Nurb F we'd be a bit closer, but my brain knows I can't run with the ballast like you do. :dopey:

Lol Tony has a "no fat chicks" bumper sticker.

I'll start this party early but....

boom... I'm on pole, eat that.

I left the room in the capable hands of Team Stealth NSX.

Nicely done Tim! I didn't realise how good a lap that was until running more and more laps and getting nowhere near it, lol. Managed to figure a few things out in the end which gave me some light at the end of the tunnel :)

1:28.647 was the pole time in WSGTC 2.

That was an NSX, with 540ish bhp and 610 pp.. Don't think we'll reach that low with the weaker cars we use.. So that 1:29.5 looks good. 👍

I've yet to start praciticing..

I managed a 29.5 with old oil, PL at 100% for 513HP, which should leave me room for a 29.0-1 but of course there's always a possibility for a phantom very high 28.

Network Maintenance scheduled from Thursday, 2.00 PM (GMT) - Friday, 7.00 AM (GMT).
EST: Thursday 10.00 AM - Friday 3.00 AM
PST: Thursday 7.00 AM - Thursday 23.59 PM

That's quite a few hours (17) of downtime, so make sure to plan your quali based on this new information.
It looks like I need to get my quali in within 6 hours, or I'm toast..

I really need to get to practicing. Work is killing me this week, well all month really, so hopefully I find the energy to get on with it tonight.

pb is 29.1 with a potential for 28.9
I figure pole will be a 28 for sure. I'm plenty happy with 29.5 as it was my "bank lap" before getting really aggressive and going after the 28 (which ended with understeer in turn2).

Now I'm just going to relax all week.

I find it really funny seeing how I thought my 29.8 was a rather good lap, and in the end I won't be able to improve it much more and I'll still be miles away from the top.

Now cmon GV 1 sec off is hardley miles off ;).

Thought id share this I put new songs on my ps3 for GT5 and this song came on for the first time in the very dark at Nords and its says "If were meant to be together change the way you see the weather" (Also the song is called "Midnight Run")

Actualy now that I listened to it again most of the lyrics suit Nords .
