No reason to close it down :) I'm gonna put in my report later this week. I heard a few people are planning on doing the same.

No more race / season reports?

Guess it's time to close this one down then.. I'll wait another 24 hours before I do..
It's emotional!! :(

I'm making something special for my report... almost done.
I also need to finalize and archive the web-site.

So I still have a couple more posts yet if you don't mind.

Sure, no problem.

Did not know some of you was about to post a report.

I'll leave it open. 👍

So, Dennis and Rees' point total is 594, team points for Raybrig are showing 636?

I can't remember how team points work, but I thought bonus points weren't counted, meaning the team total should be less then that of the two drivers on the team, assuming they earned bonus points, of course?

Bonus points are not counted.. And I don't believe 2 rounds are dropped either.. Or we did at least not say so prior to the sason..

But I can't find any logic behind the numbers..

Ehhrrmmm, ask Tim.. :scared:

594, + 85 points in dropped rounds = 679 - bonus points.
43 bonus points and that's the answer I guess.

Edit: 43 bonus points is the total for the both of you combined. 👍 :dopey:

Correct. (I think it was in one of those long pm messages)

very simply: team score = driver A + driver B
while: driver score = (points + bonus) - worst two rounds

no bonus points, no drops, just raw score

Yep, that's what we deicided. 👍

I was pleased to be invited to race with you guys. It was a great 10 weeks. 👍
Didn't get time to do everything I wanted to do with the web site, but I'm pleased that worked out pretty well.

The beginning of the season was pretty dreadful but after Monaco the car just seemed to come alive for me so I ended up having a great finish. This is probably the best I've done in one of these series and the last two races were two of the most complete races I've ever run. Had a blast. Still bummed about der nurburgfail but I'll be back for you Fraulein.

I was watching the finale to get the lap times last weekend and noticed that the final race was quite exciting. The way the pit strategies were all over the place, it made for a lot of passing as one car's tires would be falling off right when another's were coming to life. Looked quite professional out there so I wanted to put together a highlight reel to cap off the season. So re-live the action compressed into 40 minutes with this installment of "Tim teaches himself video production"

[snip]

edit: bloody hell youtube... if it's too long tell me before I upload it. :/

edit2:
verified my account, this should work around 20:30 EST

Aw no Tim your YT account doesn't have permission to upload videos longer than 15 minutes.

I'll PM you my log-in information for my other account so you can use that to upload for now.

REALLY want to see it.

Make some popcorn, you've got about 2 1/2 hours before the redundant upload is done.

Like I said in the PM, do not re-upload on the account again! You need to have a few videos on the account that don't break YT's AUP then you'll be certified to upload videos longer than 15 minutes. Youtube does not let you know that you don't have unlimited upload length until after the video's uploaded. It will let you know once you log-in (after a while) that you have full, unrestricted access, so until then, go ahead and use the account I sent you. 👍

I uploaded my dad's race at Macau in my account just fine. The video is about 43 minutes long. They asked for my phone number, i put it(fake one), and email and they sent me a link and I was granted permission to upload longer than 15 minutes.

I'm pretty sure it will work. I don't have the itty bitty "increase your limit" link (that I never noticed until now) anymore on the upload page.

Have faith in the internet :)

Can't watch Tim's video... :(

Jeff's video is spectacular to say the least.. Never seen anything like it.. Did you recieve damage on top of that?

No damage.

WOW!! Awesome video Tim!
Really like the nice graphics you made for it! 👍

SICK video!
I wish i didn't get that lag crashed on the first lap so i could be more in it! LOL

ty guys, I hope my camera's white balance blinking in and out doesn't actually make anyone sick.

Yeah, it looked like something lag-o-riffic happened going into degner on lap 1.
My replay didn't get any of it, there's just a bunch of tire smoke and squeal while a few cars go into zombie mode and just plow along into the sand then blink back on track with damage.

Hi there.

Awesome season reports guys. 👍

8 months ago, I met Ed, in a random WSGTC practice lobby. I didn't knew the "gtplanet world" yet. Here become the adventure... I was very surprised to receive an invitation from Den for PURE JGTS. It was immediately a "YES" in my head but I was scared cause my english was very poor 6 months ago... Whatever. I'm here for racing, not for speaking...lol. So I finally said "YES". I decided to run with the YMS Supra cause I didn't knew this car before this championship and I like the discovery.

As usual, I start a championship with very bad results in the 1st mid-season. And i finish in the middle of the pack.

But I never looked for the victory in JGTS. Cause there are too many aliens in PURE. So it's impossible for me to win...lol.
My goal was to meet new people and improve my english. DONE.

And I'm now an "Official PURE Steward" and I lead the season 3 of WSGTC (with the big help of Dom, Dave, Alex and Ed ;) ).

So thank you, thank you to all of you, especially eDen for trusting me. Thank you for this awesome experience! Thank you Tim for the "gate". Thank you Ansem and Muzz for your participation. Thank you to all of you guys.

PURE is the Best Experience ever!
