Sorry about your loss Steve.

Gentlemen. It saddens me to say I will not be making the final race. :( however the positive side is I'm going to Colts game. Taking my two sons for the first time as well my GF's first time. Super stoked and don't want miss this opportunity.

Good Luck guys.

Hopefully Josh and Skeng can represent and bring home the team championship.

That's so tragic to read about what happened.

Even though I can't absolutely say I know you well enough, I have godlike intuition in certain people's character and I can tell you're really strong in situations such as this, so be there for your other friends and find light in supporting each other and remembering your friend that fell. Don't worry about us, but I hope you don't have to be away too long. You always got love here. Take care Steve.

As I said in the other thread such a sad thing to hear about.. :(

But I can't resist saying this. I knew Wardez was god!

Yeah, I'll be fine. Shaken up, naturally, but if nything, I think racing will probably help with getting over it.

I managed an 8 hour work night with no problems, so a weekend of racing shouldn't be too bad.

Sorry for you and your friends' loss Steve.

You are right, sometimes it is best to stay in your routines in these situations. Everybody deals in their own way... and it hits everyone at different times.

A great group of guys here in the Pure group. I'm sure anyone of us would be happy to listen if you want to talk about it here or privately.

True that.

Really really great to see you posting in here Rees. We be missin'!

Show up for a one night stand for Suzuka? huh?huh?

The timeslot has beaten me. I just can't race at this time, it's to early for me. As gutted as I am at missing the finale, it means my car is available for Rees if he wants it.
Sorry guys. Hope you all have a great race.

I had put some words together, but yours are much better. Well said, Eddie. 👍

Anyways, I can't for the life of me break 57s without driving beyond the boundaries. I just don't have it here. :(

I can confirm (again) that it's impossible to join Rich's rooms :)

But yeah, thanks again guys. If I need anything, I'll drop a PM or post in the thread Paul made. Lets get back to business here. I'll likely open a room up after I get home from some xmas shopping, unless someone else beats me.

Come Sunday morning, I'm going to connect from PS3 directly to the modem. Thought I did that last time, but I didn't.

Unlucky Rich. :(
Doesn't really matter. That lap was actually pretty close to my PB, so I'm only D2 fast this week. That, and it's not like I'm going to finish the race anyways. Might as well disconnect while leading.

Pretty much what happened to me last week for Motegi, although here Rich also has a good lap, as long as we get 32 drivers then I say he'll make D1 alright.

Doubt it. 58.0 is my conservative prediction for the cut-off time. Losing all my time at Degner since I can't run my usual line there with the stricter boundary rules.

You wait and see. Suzuka may be the favorite for a lot of people so there'll be lots of fast drivers but at the same time that also means trying harder and that = lots of _mistakes

My last sector reminded me why I stink in a GT500 car.
You appeared much faster than me through Sector 1, though. If I tried carrying that type of speed, I get sudden, uncorrectable understeer when I transition from one direction to another.

My T1 was faster than my personal best (1:57.9 with .2 left in it). My T2 was fine for a low 58 but I lost a good second in T3. In my past 5 PURE qualifying runs I have been giving up at least a second in the last sector. I can't figure out why.
