Damn I am not at all ready for this race. I think the red bull has to come out...

Got the strongest coffee going down at the moment lol

I may not be able to take part either. My mum has just conveniently decided to decree that I can't use the Internet after 9pm. 👎 :grumpy:

Race has been reduced to an hour and a half if that is any help. Same goes to Paul, if you come in quickly we can show you how to handle the problem areas. The more people the merrier.

Well done Twissy, four in a row 👍👍👍👍
I had a good race, stayed out of trouble and found i could do 15 laps on a set of tyres with fairly consistent times.
Had hopes late in the race of getting second but Biffy had other ideas and rapidly caught up and passed. The draft allowed me to stick close and keep pressure on until the end but Biffy didn't make any mistakes and finished about a second in front of me with Twissy a lap and 15 sec or so down the road.

I had an awful race.
First couple of laps I recieved damage due to somebody overshooting his brakezone.
Which resulted in damage to the other side in the next turn, reducing my first stint by 5 laps. :grumpy:
Got a drivethrough with my 3rd and 4th pitstop (or was it 4th and 5th ). 👎
Crashed heavily, with engine damage, lap 1 after my last pit because I was pushing too hard being furious about the drivethroughs.
Ended up instantly shutting down the PS3 and smoking a cigarette to calm down...

PS: Congrats on another win James. Amazing how you just drive away from everybody every time.

Didn't think I was going to enjoy this race and after the first lap when my bungee clipped off my break pedal (while breaking) I slid into biffy (sorry).
Went back to pits to fix back onto break pedal. All good after that.

Now I thought that was it for me but I powered through, was good fun trying to keep good lap times. Hardly made a mistake until the dark came.
It was hard work at the back of the circuit trying to find your normal breaking points... made a few mistakes which meant I had to put early.
On my last pit stop I made a mistake on the last corner ending up with engine damage I crawled back to the pits and it still reset me even tho I was going super slow. So I lost around 5 - 10 seconds for that. But I still don't think I would of made it to litch.

Anyway well done twissy for another win and well done biffy for a great recovery. I do love this endurance races you can make back so much time if you don't make a mistake.

That was probably me on lap 2, sorry about that. I took a peek out the side window to check if someone was next to me and then missed the brake point a bit. I was surprised we both carried damage from that contact since it was rather weak.

It was indeed strange to recieve damage as I didn't even hear a bump. Just saw you passing through the inside where I tried to let you pass first before steering in.
The small damage wasn't my race wrecker though, no grudge on my side for that.
It were the 2 drivethroughs which really made me upset because I saw I was on a totally different pitstrategy than almost everybody where I still had hope for a good outcome at the end.

Cheers guys for your comments, I like to think I'm a much better racer than hot lapper. I do put alot preparation into my races, doing race simulations seeing how far I can go on a set of tyres, what amount of fuel will be needed. I was planning to do stints of 18 laps for yesterdays race but had to change my strategy as Michouw and Litchi undecut my by a few laps and came out ahead after my first pitstop, so had to change my strategy rapidly.

Plus I will always back my own consistenty in terms of pace, I just generally get into a zone and do lap after lap within a tenth of each other. :)

We are thinking to change for Tsukuba Moto, not Tsukuba standard, which could be more interesting. Still wait for the Jordan confirmation (or not)

It would make it quite interesting. But will it take a overtaking opportunity down to the hairpin out the window?

Just in case anyone hasn't checked, here are the results and the current standings:

For Round 5 we will be racing the moto version of the Tsukuba track. For those who are unfamiliar with this layout of the track, the only difference is that the usually unused corner that lies right after Turn 3 is now part of the circuit, instead of just going straight on.

For this turn, we will be using special rules relating to what is clean and dirty. For this corner only, you are only allowed to have two wheels on the kerb, and two wheels on tarmac. The following pictures show this rule in action:

If any of the wheels go further inside, past the kerbing, then it is considered dirty, and this will be strictly enforced in qualifying.

For the rest of the track, normal rules apply. These pictures show the dirty parts of two corners where it is possible to go dirty:

If any of you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask 👍

Oh, and some general news - tony1311 has just signed up to the series, which could make things pretty interesting for Twissy :D

haha, that indeed will be VERY interesting. Can't wait to see results.

Shoot me a replay file and I'll even put it on Youtube if you guys want, remember I have a PAL disc.

I don't seem to have this track. Now what? I can't practice on a track I don't have. Might as well have someone else finsh the season. 👍

It's just Tsukuba , you just go round the extra corner instead of going straight on as biffy has explained above. Atleast I think ...hehe

Yup Green 👍.

I guess I'm a bit confused. :dopey: The tsukuba track I have doesn't seem to have this section. Unless I'm missing something. :dunce:
I've been practicing on this track.

Road runner its after the fast right, instead of going straight on into the fast left, you turn right into the moto chicane. (T3 under the dunlop bridge)

You mean it's on the same track, I just haven't paid attention to it. Ok I'll do my qualifying Sunday. I didn't realize it was on the same track. :dopey:

My race participation is in doubt: sticky brake pedal. :indiff:

Blow into the spot where the pedal goes into the base, or try slamming the pedal down a few times. Blowing worked for me, and I know slamming them has worked for others.

Just got in from work. Will be qualifying in a few hours.

Just need time to relax hehe

Added time to sheet
