You're never going to believe what happened to me...my brother stole my laptop, and that resulted in all connected devices getting DC'd. I went up to complain, and he ended up hitting me, bare-knuckle-boxing-style and he almost broke my glasses.

So, that's my 2 dropped races wasted. So much for going out next Monday to watch the final Ireland match. 👎

Due to continued crap happening to me in races i'm taking a break from online racing for a good few weeks atleast to clear my head. Also I will take this time to put my heart and soul into GT-A round 8-5, why not you never know.

Sounds a bit selfish but I mean getting punted in the first few laps which completely ruins my race from the get go in 4 consequtive races and mucking up of my own is just causing me to hate racing online atm.

Fair enough Paul, sad to hear but completely understandable. In fact I'm on a break from online racing myself bar this series for a good few months, may be permanent actually. If I can get a wheel I will stick to time-trialling in GT5 and move over to iRacing/GTR 3/rFactor 2/Project C.A.R.S when I get the chance

I think we all were on nerves with those connections issues between some drivers. Had to do 3 rooms lol.
All in all, i finally had a good race but i failed for the podium .
Congrats to Tony and Pag for 1st and 2nd and well done to Jon for the third. One day, i'll beat you Jon, one day...

Congrats to Tony and the other podium finishers.

Had bad luck. First lap second corner, DK tried to overtake me into Eau Rouge (not a good idea) and spun into the wall. Had to crawl back to the pits with big damage. After calming down, a little later this happens. 👎

Paulmac may have been ahead, or I may have been ahead, who knows, but it is clear that our races were not in sync and I'm guessing this accident happened when the game tried to fix itself. What resulted was the worst damage I have ever tried to drive with. Driving back to the pits, without getting into anybody's way, was a real challenge.

And wow just watched the video. That sucked, such a shame we had problems last night with connections. For the last month or so I haven't really seen big problems like that.

Hopefully next week will be better. But I hate the track lol

I won't be back for the rest of the series. This used to be fun, but for some reason the faster people (not everyone) don't have patients for the slower people. The only time I should have to get over for someone to pass me is when I'm being lapped. I should never have to be forced to move by gettting hit. I run clean even though I'm slower and I have gracefully moved out of the way of the leaders when I'm being lapped. Doing hot laps doesn't require me to move over for the other drivers.
In real racing you hit someone on purpose to get them out of your way because they're slower, your going to loose a job.

No offence man I had a similar problem with you in Free run in Tsukuba, which in trying to be nice and cleanly by going round you, I ended up getting blocked onto the grass and spun/crashed 👎.

I kept quite about it though I could have easily blurted out in the chat asking why you did it.

It was a mistake on my part, but I also apologised for it right after the incident. This is not a debate. It was wrong by hitting me to make me move.
Remember that this is a game and first off it's supposed to be fun.

Ok then, I just meantioned it as since I didn't see what happened and was thinking it was perhaps a similar thing as I did feel as though I was being held up for the lap and a bit I sat behind. If its different then i'll keep my trap shut .
