Might be 5 mins late guys please wait on me ill update if something changes , im afk in lounge at moment .

This is really starting to 🤬 me off now. Every time (and I do mean every single time) I have a race like this, at approximately half-race distance I get disconnected. Why do you 🤬 let this happen PD? Do something about it, because I'm losing a lot of races because of this.

Never racing another street circuit on this game again. Never.

Had a great start, gained a spot and pulled away from everyone's draft behind me, then boom, hit the edge of the wall where it sticks out on lap two and went all the way to last. Never saw another car again because I kept hitting everything in sight because I kept falling asleep. Quit on lap 26 after I was fully pissed off.

Only got under a 56 once or twice. Was over 2:00 regularly. I suck at this game.

Less room for error on street circuits considering that there are very small run-offs (if any at all). I dislike street circuits too 👎 .

That was a seriously intense race. Jash and I pulled away on the first stint and the two of us were literally side by side for half the race. We had like a 10 second lead on the field and I thought for sure it was only between the two of us for the win.

With about five laps to go John and Joshua started to appear in our mirrors as we battled. With two laps to go, we were four deep going for the win.

Josh ran out of gas on the final lap and Jash got held up, but I don't think I was ever more than 20 feet away from another car for the entire race.

I hate fuel, once again.

I did the same thing. I've never had the recommended fuel be wrong before today. Guess I learned my lesson.

Enjoyed my first Pure race for the most part. Got tangled up with Owens a few laps in and lost sight of the pack after that. Really like having some crazy fast guys to chase. Just hope I can find the speed in future races.

Had a good race going between tony, me, outlaw, and Spurgy for the whole first stint. Then we pitted on lap 13 and the game threw molasses all over me - botched pitstop.

Came out about 2 second and change behind Rich, who had Tony right ahead of him.

Tried for my life to catch up but there were hauling ass.

First stint was a lot of fun, second stint was intense and draining trying to keep up the pace. Finished 2 seconds behind Rich and 4 behind Tony though, so I'm definitely proud of that. Tokyo's tough when everyone's pace is pretty much the same.

can we see the D1 result ?
realy great race with Iamsupernasty, fairplay, perfect :)
see you next week ;)

Good job killer starting last and winning d2

For sure he deserve congrats for that! Jash and I were leading and battling and had no idea what kind of pace he had. All of a sudden before we could coordinate not battling each other, he was on us.

I overachieved today.

Thanks to my surgery, I didn't have the chance to practice for more than a few minutes here and there. With Eddie having alien speed (I believe he was faster than Tony today), Spurgy on the field, and with my right side sorta blurry thanks to some residual swelling, I thought 4th would've been all I could do.

As usual, I had a good start, but I did overshoot T1 a bit. I did recover (although I think my slip-up may have hurt Travis), and settled in to watch the Tony/Eddie show. Soon, Spurgy came up and with a small mistake at T1, I was at the rear of the train, dealing with draft from three cars. I managed better than expected, so I just hung around until the pit stop. Unfortunately, Eddie tipped his hand way too early, so it became a monkey-see, monkey-do. That only means that there would be big winners and big losers.

For once, my strategy would pay off. You see, I like coming in late to the room because the game will usually give you a late stall, the ideal spot if you're coming in with others. My stall was first, so there was hardly any delay. Tony also got lucky, but Eddie and Spurgy were the big losers. I was on the edge of Tony's draft, and my outlap was the best I could've hoped for (and it also aided in setting a PB). I reeled him in, but I had a feeling Eddie was going to push like mad to catch up. Therefore, it became a balancing act, passing Tony only when I had a good run and vice versa. It worked quite well, and it appeared that it was going to be another classic finish.

Then the... something happened. Not sure if I got distracted or there was a lag spike, but I thought I was going to crash right into Tony at T2 with a few laps to go. Lost ground, but it also threw me off rhythm. Started pushing, and that bit me hard when I bopped the wall once or twice, and lost the draft. I was able to match his pace, but I needed one slip up to have a shot.

No dice.

I did finish 2nd, which is great, but also hilarious. You see, out of 95 races that I've logged, that's the 29th time I've been runner-up. I can't make this stuff up. :boggled:
