Down to a 1:21.566, could probably get another tenth out at the moment but hoping for even more time by the weekend đź‘Ť

Thanks. I'd rather not practice anymore. Gonna strain my eyes if I do. đź‘Ť

Sorry I didn't see message earlier. I'll be on late tonight too. Sent you a PM as well.

You got room open?

That's not going to hold up very well. That room was lacking grip compared to my own. At least that last corner's gonna be the equalizer. It bit all the top runners in the Camaro Cup, so anyone that avoids crashing there on Saturday will likely win.

That's why I love running heavy damage. Hit a wall = lose. Makes people think twice about over driving the car due to risk of damage. Makes consistency just as valuable as outright speed. My only gripe with PURE lol.

You would have loved FMSC at Tokyo with heavy damage :yuck: Worst race ever in FMSC.

Actually most PURE series are heavy damage. Well the GT300/GT500 series.

CALM was also heavy damage...

This is Mules spec series, he has allways used light damage. His series have allways done fine too, Integras were epic! :D

Lol.. first time we've used light damage in 2013

Didnt Mule do this as a fun easy going series? That is where the no tune and light damage came in. Kinda a relaxing series before the GT500 season starts?

Makes sense to me :) I should have used different words. Didn't know all the others were heavy dmg. Thumbs up from me :)

You will enjoy the PURE series from the sounds of things. :) GT500's are coming up and should be very intense.

I'm putting up another fast lap video:

Track Notes:

T1 - My line there is some weird habit. You can use a more traditional approach to save that right front.

T3 through T5 - Yes, it's pretty much a matter of using every bit of concrete while staying legal, and in my video, it is. Big takeaway is not to carry excessive speed through T4, or you'll be out of position for T5.

T8 through T10 - Not a fan of this bit. My issues in the past was that I braked way too early, when it's better to do so around the spot in the video. Notice I dump the throttle before T11. You don't necessarily have to (I once hit a 31.250 sector with a more aggressive), but it really helps set the nose for the exit without worrying about hitting the wall.

T13 - There's a fair amount of banking down low, so that's where you have to aim it. This does require moderate turning while braking, and do not, I repeat, do not touch the grass on the inside. That will screw you up big time.

T15 - That's the fastest I've hit this corner, but I'm afraid that was just dirty. The first time was clean, so that's a better example. Still, it's a high risk/high reward approach, since the rumbles have a mind of their own, and there's no margin for error.
