You absolutely know how to make a photo work, nice shots !
However, focus is a little off sometimes as is the brightness. Try setting the brightness a little (+0.3) higher and look into some post-editing (photoshop, lightroom e.g.). You certainly have the potential to be one of the best 👍

You seem to have nailed the 'rig-style' shots pretty well, especially in the 458 photos. There are a couple of things that make me cringe and wish the photo was better executed. One of them being your use of the 'miniature' filter, as I absolutely despite the misuse of it, because it is originally intended for photos shot far away from the subject to give the illusion of small-scale.

The other problem is exposure. Because yellow is such a bright color, it is easy to overexpose the photo. There are some serious hot spots happening in the front bumper of the car which could easily be toned down with a little negative EV setting like -0.3 or -0.7

That's just my critique, take it how you please, and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us in the next update.

i agree with the miniature filter. i'm working hard to perfect it. the main problem there is focus is fixed to the center of the image and everything else has a "depth of field" effect in order to attain the miniature look. this is used mostly for distant shots. i'm trying to find a use for it in closer shots.

now regarding the pictures being dark. i like my photos a bit dark. i don't intentionally make them dark though. brightness and exposure is as is. i then increase contrast, vibrance, and saturation. these make the color jump and more vivid. some people may not appreciate it but i do and that's fine with me. :)

i also use the cool filter extensively which naturally makes the photo dark with a tint of blue.

thanks guys! 👍

this just in! :)

Nice work with the Enzo. The photo's look great. I just did a shoot at Le Mans with almost the exact same car color.:dopey:
