Question about last round

I think i remember reading on here that the very last round determines the winner, therefore you only get a limited number of tries? Is that true? If so I can kiss that round's car goodnye. Usually takes me a few tries to gold them all.

Though the full details of the last round have yet to be released, I doubt what you heard about tires is true. You will have unlimited amount of tries at round 8-5 and will always be on fresh tires

I hoping the last challenge will allow you to run multiple laps at a time. Not cross the finish, go to the trophy screen and having to click restart like these challenges we have seen now. Which I understand cause we have let to do a full lap. Also no AI cars would be great, if there is AI cars you will have to restart after every lap. Also cant wait till we can filter the rankings by country.

The first academy was like this on GT5. I've not done the ones in between the first and current one so all this license testing style stuff was strange at first.

Nope, just 8-5.

Players will learn and train in the art of high-performance driving in eight separate rounds. These rounds will be scheduled in a sequential manner (see below for schedule). Based on his or her performance in the 5th event of Round 8, 32 of the top players from the United States will be selected to participate in the National Final Event in July 2012.
