A moving shrine? Nope.

It’s still a fake 250 GTO. So it’s based on a Datsun?!
The greenhouse gives it away as a Z immediately; the top of the windshield proud of the top of the door glass and that hatch glass shape. Additionally, the wheelbase difference appears to be about right for a Z.

I don't have a problem with replica anythings (which is to say them being replicas; though quality is often a point of contention for me) so long as the owner is honest when asked and doesn't try to swindle anyone.

I still prefer original design kits to replicas.

Not gonna lie, I don't think that looks too bad by donk standards.
A great many things that aren't donks don't look too bad by donk standards.

:P

As if the ridiculous wheels aren't bad enough, donks are characterized by their lifted state which is often necessary for the tires to clear bodywork and chassis rails.

That Electra, while perhaps higher than a standard '67, appears to be so only due to the difference in wheel diameter. The rear hub centerline is actually higher up in the rear skirt than I'd expect for a stocker.

The later Electra beneath it is closer, and the Monte, LeMans, Impala SS and Caprice/Impala coupe farther below are much more representative.

as a Z guy I can tell you without a doubt it is indeed a Datsun based Fauxrarri
did a decent job disguising the dash but the door cards and center console are stock 280Z.
most likely Reaction Research's VelloRossa kit

My favorite car. I dont think those rims would be so bad if their offset was better. Popped out that far doesnts look good though.
I like the cars enough, I suppose; came across it surfing for stainless steel targa band porn.

The wheels really aren't doing it for me--they're the sort of thing I'd expect to see on a black fifth gen Grand Prix driving around Houston circa 2002--but the amount they stick out is what I was alluding to with my comment. I shudder to think just how thick the spacers must be.

They would definitely look better on an FC. But I think it matches the rotor concept of the car.
These would be more appropriate for sure though
