An engineering masterpiece. Pftt what would Nissan's R&D team know.
Looks like it's been welded together with wire coat hangers and a car battery.
First time it heats up it'll probably explode sending shrapnel out to a 2km radius.

Cheers Shaun

Did you see the 'custom' airbox? Instead of using CAD, I think the gentleman who designed everything used an Etch-a-Sketch...and drank too much coffee.

Who needs wheel bearings?

the question is, would you kill your car for it?
I would actually, given that I have enough money to do the necessary mods. Nothing says your gangster like having your car scrape the road like this... :D

awesomeness > practicality

Who wants to be gangster? Seriously? and that looks like something's about to break.

Its just an expression, like being cool, awesome, epic, and so on. Doesn't mean much really... just getting my point across. :P Oh, and breaking? That car is daily driven like that from the comments that I read...

^The replies are even funnier. It's F1 INSPIRED, beautiful welds. /sarcasm

I'm just curious. Have you ever welded anything in your life?

and how much of a rear submember/diff casing/floorpan/oil pan does he have left?

Those sparks are material that used to be metal that was holding the car together. Now they're practically vapor. That car has serious structural problems, and I wouldn't buy it off him.

but, hey, if destroying your car is cool, then...

I believe my youngest brother used this same material to make a Muppet. Friend took this pic in Blacksburg.

Yep, mostly Mig, Arc, Brazing and a very small amount of Tig. I don't profess to be a good welder, i'm not, but I can do enough to get myself out of trouble if need be whilst I'm fixing something at work. If I need something done properly (eg structural strength) I'll give it to one of the guys at work who is a good welder and properly qualified to do so.

Cheers Shaun.

Was there a 3-series or a 5-series under all that?

For all we know, it could actually be a Ford Escort with the bestest body-kit ever.
