Another questionable E class:

Thats a Mercedes 190E Evolution 1. The only questionable thing about it is the yellow paint job and seeing as the Evo 1 only came in Blauschwarz and no one would repaint it it's probably a replica.

Great looking car IMHO.

I agree with you, but not in yellow with yellow wheels. Also as you said, it's probably not an original so it's questionable to make a normal one look like the evolution

If i had a 2.5 16V i would make it look like an Evo 1. Basically the same car with a few performance upgrades and a body kit. Much better looking than the Evo2

I agree. I don't think any of those cars belong in this thread, AT ALL!!

Maybe you need to research the definition of "questionable" Cano, because I would be happy rocking any of those cars in that last post!!

I don’t need to do a thing. All those cars are absolutely questionable to me –the pro-street Capri bein’ the least questionable, I concur with Prower- because they are all stylishly wrong.: colors, wheels, graphics for God’s sake, and in some cases how they promote a performance image but obviously cannot back it up.

All these aspects have been deemed questionable with a lot other cars in here, posers or stylers, but I think everyone over-reacts because I post street rods, not rice mobiles. News: street rods are the rice mobiles of the hot rod world, and you have plenty of examples in the previous page. And the ones that aren’t supposed to be growling monsters are simply horrible.

Even if they are very well built, I think we all agree that a good build quality doesn’t mean the car in question is not questionable at all. I can list what I find questionable with every car if need be, but come on, we all have eyes.

Would you really drive a ANYTHING with a flaming American flag painted all over it?

REALLY?

👍 agreed, questionable is in the eye of the beholder and in this case I also happen to agree.

The seller advertises this monstrosity as a "Shelby Cobra 500". And he wants more money for it than some want for 69\70 mach 1s and more than most 71-73 mach 1s (comparsions made on the same site). The only plus is that it has a 390 and a 4 speed. No pictures of the engine...

Shelby Cobra 500...

A) That's not a Shelby. That's a 67 Mustang with a Gone in 60 Seconds body kit on a notch-back coupe. Shelby only made 2 notch back GT500's.

B) Cobra? The Mustang Cobra has nothing to do with Shelby

C) 500?

A red interior looks very 60'sish on a Mustang, but the two tones just looks tacky.

I love the side pipes AND tail pipes

'A lot of time and money has gone into this car to make a very eye catching replica of an iconic car.'
