The Mustang is interesting, but I don't like the fact that they are diesels. Tri-turbo diesel made that car FLY though.

I love the polarity in generating massive power.

One camp: "add moar stuff, no replacement etc. etc."

The other: "squeeze as much power from the displacement as possible."

Eventually you reach things like the 1,500bhp 1.6-litre turbo F1 cars that grenaded within minutes.

That's just a poor design as far as longevity is concerned to begin with. I'd like to not have to rebuild my engine every 100,000 miles, thank you very much.

 Yeah I know right? They really do scream though for being pretty small. And 100,000 miles? You'd have to be one lucky man to get that out of a (turbocharged) rotary!

But triangles.

I'll stick to my overhead valve engines

I can't lie though, it is neat how they work.

I'm more of a "300-400hp is more than enough" person.

Me too. I'm content with about 350 or so.

I agree they do scream but they sure as hell don't last long

But, but... Its adorable <3

Honestly, doesn't surprise me. I see it a lot around here, and people still don't expect it. Considering all the torque those diesels put out, modern ones being near 900 lb-ft, the turbo's just bring the horsepower up and it's not unheard of to see over 1,000hp and 2,000 lb-ft of torque out of these diesel motors for not a lot of green.

And then those videos appear.

I'd daily that bitch.

Mhm yeah..... at 7.4 Liters, I called my Uncle's Goat a gas guzzler. Hell the 3.8 V6 in my van is a gas guzzler...

At 18 Liters in a truck....

Its not going to get dailied lol. If we put it in the truck its going to be dedicated for mud. Hell put 48s under it or 54s.

FD3S RX-7 modified by Scoot.

It's got two 2-rotor rotary engines bolted together, pumping out around 470bhp. That's brilliant, nothing questionable about that, but look how they did a complete transformation of its rear end.

And I kinda like it...

But I'm not into its butterfly doors:
