HAH! The Prelude Reminds me of the "Un-Pimp the Auto" commercials!

German Engineer: Vhat does dis do?
Dude: It sucks air.
German Girl: It sucks alright...

Do you think it has anything worthy under that bonnet?
Looks like you can see the top of a...erm watsamacallit...

Some more beautiful cars for you all, aren't you lucky!

Civics
What kind of retard does this to a car, and why? If it's to compensate for an unfortunate case of micropenis, he really needs to paint the car a different color first.

Toronado

This one isn't actually that bad per se, but from the front:

Yes, a cracked airdam, a blown front tire, both on the same side.

Try driving a lower truck and not cracking the air dam...I'm on my second one and I need a new one.

here's an idea: Don't lower the truck! It's not meant to be a lowered car, it's allegedly an all roader!

All right, who minus repped me for this post? Dick!

Its called an air filter. It keeps rocks out of your engine, and out of your head.

I've got a Renault Clio 182... lemme see you outhandle that

I probably can, with little problem. I have taken a full 5 inches out of my truck's ride height, put a Corvette steering box in it, shock that are compariable to those on a Vettes, and I have stickey tires. But really one lowers their truck because it's custom. I just happened to do it for the performance.

Joey, read a bit... In a group test Evo magazine rated the Clio 182 a more accomplised point to point road car than
BMW M3 CS
Roush Mustang
Nissan 350Z GT4 edition
Lotus Exige 240R
Subaru Forrester STi
Caterham CSR
Megane 225
BMW 130i M Sport
Subaru Impreza WRX
VW Gold R32
Corvette C6
and
Mazda MX5

In fact, Evo magazine tested the Clio 182 against 9 supercars and it came 3rd (in handling)
Ford GT 95.1
Ferrari F430 93.0
Renault Clio 92.9
Gallardo SE 92.0
BMW M3 CS 90.7
Porsche Cayman S 87.6
Aston Martin V8 86.7
BMW M6 85.1
SLK55 AMG 83.4
TVR Sagaris 81.1

All in a 4-cylinder, 1000 kilos, and about 7500€ (used) car :)

I still hate it when people tell me I shouldn't have lowered a truck, people like that need to be shot in the face. Mini truckin is a huge aspect of custom vehicles.

Yeah, that's fine bud. But the fact of the matter is that a truck is a truck and and a sports car/coupe is a sports car/coupe. You can get your truck to be like a sports car, but you'll have a very hard time making it into a sports car. But then again...why would you want to?

Why would I want to? Simple, it's hasn't been done by to many people and having a good handeling truck is something I wanted without buying a Typhoon. It's not the best but god knows the truck isn't fast so might as well make it go around corners decently. I would love to try more offical autox.

So basically you want to be unique, not so much worried about practicality or traditional vehicles that are meant to handle well.

The two door Blazer isn't a bad starting platform if you think about it. It weighs a little bit, 3200 pounds, but it's RWD and has a short wheel base. With some suspension tuning it will be ok. Think of it as a heavier 4 door Golf with less understeer.

If you say so bud. Myself, I would start with a car desgined to be sporty then trying to make sport out of utility. But if it works for you, go for it!

Meh I'm not going to have it forever, my next vehicle will probably be a Toyota Tacoma since they are a sweet truck...and it will be 4WD so I can use it like a truck. The Blazer is just something fun while I'm young.

Now that right there sounds like ignorance to me. Claiming you can outhandle a Clio 182 in a truck is outrageous.

Considering they don't sell "crappy" (they don't sell them because people hate them) Renaults in the US I will never find out, but I have managed to stay in tight with Civic hatchback, a Jetta Wolfsberg, and some other sporty compacts through the corners before.

Well if a crappy car is one which has been described as the best handling and best over all hot hatch ever made then please give me all the crappy cars you can find! Just for the record too a civic and a jetta wouldnt even know which way the clio went. Renault may not be the best manufactuer in the world but damn they made a hell of a car with that one.

I forgot i had these, Taken at Trax 2003 (car show in england) at silverstone race track, I would post more but i cant as it was a max power type affair so most of the shots have boobies in them. Sorry chaps

I like how people can generalize about a Renault being crappy when they never actually had the chance to drive one. Oh yeah, I've known someone with a 1984 Renault Alliance, therefore I can say that all Renault are utter crap.

I've driven a 2001 Clio 1.6 for a few thousand miles, and I'll say that you'd have to put ****loads of money in a Blazer to be able to keep up with it on twisty roads.

Ok Jesus Christ I made an assumption based on the crappiness of Renault, I was wrong are you people happy...good lord. But honestly until any of you have actually driven my Blazer you'll never know, but it does do well on the twisty considering it's an SUV.
