Questionable modifications: pictures inside!

Think what you will but honestly is was a lame joke and really don't start a fight over this, no one wants it, especially the mods. But honestly thats what most people do when the rag on my truck, they think they have a better car but a jealous because my truck is new.

And since I only know you have a Camaro and I couldn't tell you if its better or not, depending on the year it could go either way.
 
I dont see whats so questionnable about those two anyway, but posting them up in here just to deliberately start an argument is not cool.
BX's truck, not bad at all, i must say i even like it, and im not even a truck person, very clean and simple, good job BX, time and money well invested i think.

Whoevers Whatever that car is :confused:, cant remember :embarrassed:.
Its not all that questionnable either, it has a lot of things on it to help performance.
 
It seems plausible that some of these cars be considered questionable... I mean, they have been modified and turned into something that was not meant for them as their original purpose.

I'm pretty sure Blazers were not meant to be lowered and put with Corvette gearboxes and Cadillacs like that one weren't meant to be the "fastest 4.9 DeVille in the world"
 
I don't want to start anything, or add more fuel to the fire, but is it just me or does the Caddy have more things under the hood painted blue then modifications? If I had known the color blue adds hp, I would have attacked my car with blue spray paint a long time ago! :dopey:
 
This entire thread is composed of people laughing at other people's hard work. If someone finds BlazinXtreme's vehicle to have questionable modifications on it, why shouldn't they be able to post it here? Are members from this forum exempt from this thread? I can't remember if I've ever made a comment on BlazinXtreme's truck, but I'm not going to make one here.

IMO, anyone's vehicle is fair game, whether they be a member here, a random person from the internet or a celebrity.

Every single car in here is owned by someone who spent time on it and obviously thinks it looks good. Laughing at some random person's vehicle is no different from laughing at a member of this forum's vehicle.
 
The problem is, they can answer back.

You bash a member's vehicle, fine. but expect them to give it back double.

Yep, fair enough. It's to be expected, people are obviously going to defend their work (even if 99% of the members here think it looks terrible).

However, it's obviously a fairly futile task. If someone thinks a car looks bad or that it has questionable modifications, the owner of the car saying that it took them a lot of time to do the modifications isn't going to change the opinion of the person who originally said the car looked bad.

Anyway, why should it matter to the owner of the car what other people think of it? Are the people modifying their cars to please others or to please themself? What should other people's opinions matter about their cars?

I'm going to ask nicely, why did you do that? Honestly why would you directly attack someone vehicle that they put a lot of time, money and effort into? I would never tell someone to their face that their car is stupid or whatever, but if you feel the need to be a bastard over it then fine be they way. I don't rag on you about having a Camaro so why start something with me? Honestly. I'm pretty sick of people ragging on me about my truck...its not even funny anymore and it makes you a pretty big idiot.

I'm trying to be civil here because swearing and cussing will get me no where, but honestly why must you do things like that? Lots of people really like my truck because it's different then most mini trucks on the market. But you know what I think your issue is? I have a nicer vehicle then you do and you don't like that so you have to belittle other people to make yourself feel better...thats really really sad.

Amen enought said lets respect each others rides some have more money then others ,why belittle them about it, some have diffrent taste!I think BlazinXtreme's truck is nice 👍 !Thats all i got to say !
 
nice post amp. you get rep. this thread has been an inferno with flaming lately, and that should put people into perspective. BX should'nt be so offended by peoples criticizm because, really, who gives a s***. whenever you post something of yours on the internet, it will get opinions. It may be so that some of those opinions are 'belittling'. but that shouldnt make you feel smaller.

Good point, amp88. I do know that I'd want the approval of the general public, though, and would defend my work to the end, or at least until i've thouroughly made an ass out of myself, ((Which I seem to have done everywhere but this site this week)) due to my very short and often explosive temper. :yuck:

Stop taking things so seriously? Why should I? I've put at lot of money and a ton of time into making my truck something good. Bashing on it pisses me off. I would never bash on someones car to their face, I might not like it but if I ever run into another custom car owner I will find something I like and praise that instead of bashing it. Point in case, I saw a Civic the other day, altezza lights, unpainted body kit, exhaust falling off, the works...you know what I told the guy? You got a pretty good project going there...he appercaited the comment and returned one to my truck. I could tell he didn't like it much, nor did I like his car all that much, but we are all in it for the same reason.

Is is really so hard not to talk **** about someones car to their face? I don't think so, but if people wanna be pr****s about it then so be it, but don't expect me to approach it calmly. If you knew the whole story behind my truck you'd understand.

BX, you're young...and it shows. Does it really matter what some people online that you will most likely NEVER meet say about your car? Think about it. There is nothing wrong with having pride in what you've done or planning to do. But when you get people critiquing your stuff you have a choice. Listen to it and take it under advisement OR let it roll of your back.

I would suggest you try to do the latter.

I'm not defending people ragging on your truck, but getting so upset about a piece of machinary that probably won't be functional in 8-10 years just doesn't make sense.
 
Look, posting your car on the 'net you are to expect people to hate or like it. Did you expect everyone to say your car is great, awesome, along them lines? People have different opinions. Maybe MistaX was a bit harsh, but you did take it a bit too seriously. I wouldn't care what people said about my car to be honest. I'd be enjoying myself, and that's all that counts. If I didn't want negative comments, I wouldn't post up pictures of my car at all.

I really don't want this thread to go down, so let's get back on topic, ok?
 
Does it matter...yes, yes it does. Why? Think of it like this, in your work place you just got done with a month long project that you spend countless sleepless nights trying to complete and you think its your best possible work. But you boss takes one look at it and says it crap and throws it away...how would you feel. I'm going to guess you'd be mad and upset.

And like I said none of you know the full story about the truck so you can't possibly see why its such an attachment for me.

Big difference between raggin on it to start an arguement and giving me advice on how to improve it. Saying it sucks without any knowledge of the vehicle in question is just stupid.

The funny part in this is that I do think his Blazer is tastefully modified (I'm not that fond of Blazers, though). It's just that the owner definitevely needs to grow up a bit.

If that conforts you in some way (the first part, I mean). Getting all pumped up because someone doesn't like one of your toys, regardless of how much time you've spent on it is something I'd be expecting from a 12 years old kid, not an adult.

If all artists were that sensitive to their work being criticised, a lot of them would have followed Kurt Cobain's steps... Heck, neither would Chris Bangle be alive.
