Prepare for photo dump!
My all time favorite of any car, racer or not, the Ford GT40 Mk1. Gulf livery is bonus point for me.
The next generation, the GT40 Mk2. I've tried recreating the #2 on multiple games
Last of my GT40 loves, the MkIV; drivers included AJ Foyt, Dan Gurney, for whome the "Gurney Bump" was made for, and Mario Andretti. Foyt and Gurney won Le Mans in '67, while Andretti won at Sebring. Specific details beyond this are not of my knowledge.
When it comes to modern GT racers, the Corvette C7.R ran by Corvette Racing and Larbre Competition takes the cake. Wide, low and fast. They don't look much meaner than this!
Finally, another one of my "Old School Coolies" is the Shelby GT350R. There's something about a bumperless '65 with the iconic Le Mans Blue stripes that instantly makes it cool.
