[RACE] NR2003: 2014 GTPlanet Fantasy Series *That's A Wrap!*

Swift Autosport Press Conference
Swift Autosport is very proud to announce a BIG sponsor has come on board in the past week. Smith will be taking questions about the car, and the 2015 season with Swift Autosport. After everyone has had their questions answered Smith will take the tarp off of the #50 car. I'll take any questions now.

Any plans for 2016 yet?
No plans have been made for the 2016 season yet but after the mid-season of 2015 comes along we will make an announcement on what we have planned.

Question: Have you decided if the car will have a game sponsorship?

No the sponsor is not a game sponsor.

Now that all questions have been answered. It's time for the reveal. Here it is the #50 Ford sponsored by 3M! here's the car:

And I think that's your scheme limit. :) Looks sexy

So, what does that mean, exactly? Points counting time?
Well with two races to go-

If you are 86 points or more ahead of 12th place, you are locked into the chase for the final 10 races. Only the top 12 can contend for the championship after the 20th race. 13th- 43rd can still race for those positions, but after the 20th race, they simply cannot win the event.

If you are 86 points or more behind 12th at this point, you cannot make the chase mathematically.

Realistically if you have a 60 point lead you will likely be in, and of you're 40 out you likely aren't going to make it

Ah, okay then. Not that I'll make it nowhere near the chase (not with the races I haven't done), but it's good to know nonetheless.

Reporter: Angel, you've confirmed you are to become a familiar face in the garage area next season. You are in a big team, with familiar branding on your car. What's your pressure level at?
Angel: I'm not so much pressured as I am focused. I want to make sure that the number 54 car has a sound and good finish to a unlucky season. My thoughts have continuously been on Furinkazen and hoping he recovers and that he can climb into his machine next season. For next year I'm excited. Getting to become Chase eligible, the full season, a good welcoming team, I'm as excited as ever to get this going.
Reporter: Despite your recent resume involving Super GT, open wheel, and endurance, you have a history in NASCARs. How much has things changed?
Angel: Nothing regarding the cars have changed. They handle similar to what I remember, and my strategies have been the same. My skillset in general has gotten better. Going out and doing some new things taught me new tricks for the road courses, and I've gotten wiser with pack racing. So I think I've been what's changed, and it's a good thing.
Reporter: Last question...you used to be really focused on your own team, Black Rose Racing Team, and it has teams in F1, Super GT, and Rally. Is the GTPlanet Fantasy Series next on your start up list?
Angel: I definitely won't rule it out. I enjoy NASCAR, and I think having my own team is eventually going to happen, but I'll give it sweet time. There's always the driver option of getting people on board and actually becoming a formidable threat. For at least 2015 and likely 2016, I'm more focused on just driving and getting big wins.
Reporter: Thank you for your time.
Angel: No problem.

At the conclusion of the 2014 season, I will be departing from Furinkazen Autosport after having spent the second half of the season as a substitute for Furinkazen in the #54 Ford Fusion. For 2015, I will be heading into a bright chapter from an awkward prologue by joining nascarfan1400 and Silver Wing in their currently unnamed Chevrolet program. I will be driving the #0, with primary sponsorship from Coca-Cola using their Vanilla product, with my personal secondary sponsor Nestle, under their ROLOs brand, and team sponsor Red Bull GmbH filling in the gaps. I continue to put forward my full effort to bring #54 the best possible season conclusion while Furinkazen recuperates, and I wish him, Michelin, and GranTurismo916 the best in the next season. I look forward to stepping into my team with both feet forward.

If there is a need for Angel and the #54 team, Team #79 is more than willing to pitch in to help this season and into next as ***** decides if he will even continue, much less compete.

Can't wait for these races to come out. So much suspense as we get near the chase. Best wishes to nascarfan1400 on his internet issues.

Hello competitors of the GTPlanet Fantasy Series, if you see that I tagged you in a thread you hadn't seen before, then consider it my own personal invitation to join the new series I'll be starting. It's RACE approved (Thanks for that @rallymorten), and takes place in the same game as this series does. It is in no way a competitor to this series, think of it as the Busch Series to this series' Winston Cup. Signups will take place on a Google Form, and after that all you'll need to worry about is watching the (hopefully) 3 videos or so per race that will show the beginning, at least one exciting moment and the ending. Some of you will know this, having participated in my last attempt at this, and I hope to see you return for this attempt.

After some long consideration, Black Rose Racing Team is open to hosting a team in 2015. It would likely run as a satellite team to the currently named MLP Scuderia Red Bull team and run Chevrolets. However, this would all hinge on finding drivers and a livery artist. BRRT_Angel will continue with staying on MLP Scuderia Red Bull for 2015 as her contract is solid, and would also act as team principal of Black Rose Racing Team. The official registration documents have also been filed with event promoters.

Hmmm....interesting. Going with the DEI approach, not common virtually or in reality, but a good twist. As for an artist, that won't be hard to find, your "boss" would be option 1 out of about 8.

It still all depends on approval and procuring drivers. Perfect situation would be to pick up drivers from the free agent market and independents. We'll see how the mix up goes.
