Fake blowover, you had roof flaps off! :P

------

Drivers are all headed to Talladega as Daytona will be unraceable for a few days as the crew needs to remove a 50ft section of wall as the impact from @Gerarghini broke through the safer barrier and the concrete.

That being said, the test races held at Daytona tomorrow are cancelled, and will be run at Dega until Daytona reopens. The replacement will be at least a day, maybe more.

#99 Driver Matheus Michelin had this to say after the race finished under red flag:

"No racecar will be 100% safe. Ever. There are somethings in motorsport we can't control, and today's accident is one of them. It surely was a scary crash, I can guarantee you that. I really hope that the drivers involved are ok after this huge crash and that they can be racing on the next few test races and when the season starts. Just a shame that people like to make drama out of nowhere."

In response to Michelin:
GTPFS Safety:

In the event Of every accident we have worked to develop a better way to make the cars safe. The new roll cage will save more and more lives. Just as the cars and crashes evolve, so does the safety, and while some overreact, we feel a new safety feature only makes a driver more confident for the next event. You are in good hands in NASCAR. I assure you that.

Michelin's response to the GTPFS Safety:

"My response wasn't directed at you guys. I know you guys work your 🤬 off every day and night trying to make our sport the safest possible, so after each horrendorous wreck our fans see, the drivers of this sport can each time get out of the car without any harm so they can come back to racing as fast as possible. It's just that people, like you guys said, overreact to some things desnecessarily. Well, I'm just gonna end my rant. Can't wait to go to Dega in the next few days to keep testing the #99 Ford."

In response to Michelin:
GTPFS Safety Crew:
Understood and recognized. See you at Dega! :)

New Rollcages are already installed to those at Daytona, and the boys in Charlotte should be getting them by tomorrow! :)

Haha! This is fun! :dopey: Ready to have a go at Talladega. This #4 Toyota hasn't been too strong these past tests, but we hope to be consistent when the season starts. We're sure that by the end of testing, the ARTA crew will find a winning recipe.

GTPFS NEWS REPORT
When asked about the crash Wednesday night, Dean Cruz, of the #86 Taco Bell Toyota Camry, responded with the following:
"Have you tried the A.M Crunchwrap? It's amazing. All these neat stuff like hash browns and eggs and bacon with gooey cheese wrapped in tortilla. Since it's wrapped, I can eat it during pit stops, and on the trackwith one hand. I have no idea exactly how safe that is, but I don't care, it's freaking amazing. I don't know about you guys, but I can get it whenever I want, too."
"Oh, the crash! I forgot. It was scary. Parts were flying everywhere. I was narrowly hit by a car flying off the guardrail. I really hope something like that never happens again. I'm thankful I'm not in the hospital, and those who did recovered quickly."
