I am having some horrible trouble trying to get FRAPS to not lag under playback. Tried to compress it with VSDC and it only made it worse, so as I'm not in any rush right now to start the season, I will delay this race by one week.

If someone can recommend me a screen recording software that doesn't kill FPS and has good enough playback, then that would be appreciated. Sorry for the delay, but it is what it is

Another option is www.bandicam.com/. I haven't gotten it to work on my old computer (to be fair, FRAPS won't even run for me) but it would probably work better for you.

DXtory is what I use, then I compress the AVI's into MP4's with Handbrake, then I upload to YouTube

Results for the Super Autobacs 50 are as follows, with swiftsmith posting a rapid time in his #50 Ford. quietgirl was the fastest of the RAM drivers, Jahgee1124 quickest Chevrolet, and Harsk100 the quickest Toyota. Overall, the field proved very close together; stay tuned for qualifying results in the upcoming hours!

However both Niku Driver HC and raven214 were involved in an accident that forced raven214 to move to a back up. Niku only suffered slight damage and will repair the Chesterfield Chevrolet instead.

Quick Announcements:

-There will be two more test races. Reason being is that my Spring Break isn't until the second week of April. These two races will be at Martinsville and at Sonoma. These will not have any commentary but will have some tidbits on the drivers themselves.

-The Napa Auto Parts 250 will be a full length race, complete with mock ads and commercials (maybe), and will air on April 11th. Deadline for schemes will be on April 2nd.

-Teams are now a go, so make a post explaining your teams upfront. Remember, nothing is final until the Napa Auto Parts 250.

-The next two test races will implement the prototype stat editor I have in the works.

Thankfully no one was hurt. But sadly, @raven214's old truck is now destroyed. We had to evacuate the garage area because it actually ended up exploding a couple of minutes later. We'll replace his garage in time for the race, but you owe us a couple of bucks for the Happy Meals we lost that we were going to give to the Super Speedway's fun zone

Also GM has stated that it will send a new one that doesn't spontaneously go off
